The Elephant Rope

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.

He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?

Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

May 20th’s New Moon and Annular Solar Eclipse.

On Sunday, 20 May, we will be having an Annular Solar Eclipse.

May 20th’s New Moon joins with the south lunar node, engendering the first annular eclipse in 18 years — an eclipse that appears to have a “ring of light’ around the Sun. The eclipse starts in southern China, passes through Japan and ends in the western US. In other parts of the world in daylight, the Moon will partially cover the Sun. The eclipse starts on May 20th at 8:56pm UT (Universal Time) and ends on May 21st at 2:49am UT.

Since the dawn of time, there are few astronomical phenomena that are as exciting to the human mind as an eclipse. In Karmic astrology, the lunar nodes are seen as the connections or invisible threads between the Soul and its numerous past lives.

In working with the energies surges of an Eclipse, some caution should be observed. Keep in mind that an eclipse is always a planetary cleansing process on a major scale, as well as an opportunity for a heavy duty Karma clearance on a personal level.

All life is a ceremony

Have you ever stopped to think that Every Act is a ceremony creating a result in our lives? Every ceremony we do always brings results to our lives.

If we think or act in a negative or hateful way we are doing this to ourselves. More problems are created internally then we can ever imagine. Our thoughts are very real and send out a vibration all around us. And we will attract while we send out.

If we continue to do negative things we will eventually destroy ourselves. Any time we live our lives out of harmony, we are destroying a part of humanity.

Any time we treat anything with disrespect whether it is another human being or a plant or an animal, we are performing bad/negative ceremonies. These ceremonies not only have an effect on ourselves but will simultaneously affect everything. We need to use our power well, only do good ceremonies.

Monitor your thoughts! If you do you will catch yourself accidentally thinking in a negative or disrespectful way. Immediately correct your way of thinking and turn it into a positive.

In the words of Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Thoughts are a vibration and our thoughts create our world. Keep sending out good vibrations and you will find your life improving.

Who is Cherokee Billie?

Anybody who is a public figure is going to have positive and negative things said about them. I want to set the record straight about who I am.

I am 61 years old and have been bedridden for 22 years because of, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, an accident to my hips, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, to name a few of my illnesses. I have to pay people to take care of me every day because the only thing that I can do is work by telephone and computer. I do not ask nor do I require sympathy. I play the hand that I was dealt as best I can.

I was a doctor of Naturopathic medicine for twenty years until I could no longer function. My family is deceased and all I have is me to ensure that I am taking care of.

My father was full blooded Cherokee and was born almost 100 years ago. My father and his family never lived on a reservation. My father worked harder than anyone I’ve ever known in my life and became successful. He gave back to the Native Americans as much as possible through donations. He never tried to get registered because it didn’t matter, who he was, was all that mattered. So for all of you ignorant people who want to see my registration as a Native American – forget it. I do not drink, do drugs or fornicate. I work seven days a week no matter how sick I am. How many of you can say that?

Just like my father I work hard every day. I write, do all the work on my website, write and return E-mails, and post on my blog, Facebook, Twitter and every other social media outlet. If I’m lucky I have some clients and I do psychic work. I am ½ Cherokee and ½ Irish.

Here is a quotation from Jim Pell: Principal Chief of the North Alabama Cherokee Tribe.
“The traditional Cherokee philosophy is that even the smallest drop of Cherokee Blood makes one a Cherokee. There is no such thing as ‘part-Cherokee. ‘Either you’re Cherokee or you’re not. It isn’t the quantity of Cherokee blood in your veins that is important, but the quality of it . . . your pride in it.

I have seen full-bloods who have virtually no idea of the great legacy entrusted to their care.
Yet, I have seen people with as little as 1/500th blood who inspire the spirits of their ancestors because they make being Cherokee a proud part of their everyday life.”

A pathetic psychic launched a negative campaign against me three years ago because she wanted to capitalize on all the business. She was jealous of my work and I had never heard of her. I do not follow what any other psychic does. I just try to work my own business. She understands marketing and knew how to tear down my reputation. Prior to her my reputation was outstanding and it still is with my clients. Unfortunately many people read what this negative psychic said about me and believe it because she appears on television occasionally. That’s no big deal. There are a lot of great psychics that appear on television who do not try to ruin another person’s life. This woman has never stopped trying to destroy me and she probably never will. So if you want to believe her feel free to do so. Please note that on her web site there is no way to contact her by e-mail, telephone or business address. I have all of those things displayed on my website. I do not hide like she does from the public.

I believe that my quality of work stands for itself.

So if you want to know anything about me go ahead and ask me. Please do not gather your information from people who have never even spoken to me. As of today I am sick of people putting me down and I’ve had enough.

So that is who I am. You can like me or hate me. It is your choice.

Is the Universe Friendly? ~ Albert Einstein

“I think the most important question facing humanity is, ‘Is the universe a friendly place?’ This is the first and most basic question all people must answer for themselves.

For if we decide that the universe is an unfriendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to achieve safety and power by creating bigger walls to keep out the unfriendliness and bigger weapons to destroy all that which is unfriendly and I believe that we are getting to a place where technology is powerful enough that we may either completely isolate or destroy ourselves as well in this process.

If we decide that the universe is neither friendly nor unfriendly and that God is essentially ‘playing dice with the universe’, then we are simply victims to the random toss of the dice and our lives have no real purpose or meaning.

But if we decide that the universe is a friendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to create tools and models for understanding that universe. Because power and safety will come through understanding its workings and its motives.”

God does not play dice with the universe.”

~ Albert Einstein

Happy Mother’s Day! May 13, 2012

I send out best wishes to all mothers living and in spirit. Also, to would be mothers who are enjoying the life that grows within them. For all of the mothers of fur, feathered, fin, and reptile babies’ thank you for taking care of these wonderful creatures.

My mother is in spirit and I look forward to the time that we’re reunited. Thank you for everything you gave me Mama.

I am grateful for my fur babies, Isis and Tigre. They bring me so much happiness with their sweet spirits.

I was thinking of the ladies that never had children and have wanted to. There is a wonderful chapter in the Bible that speaks about women who never had children and how they will have more children because of their spiritual work. This has always been very comforting to me as I never had children.

Isaiah 54:1 Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, said the LORD.
Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations: spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes;
Isaiah 54:3 For you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Isaiah 54:4 Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be you confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.
Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

In my life I have found this passage to be very true. Never feel that you are alone, remember that so many people out there need what you have to offer. Never underestimate you.

I leave you with this beautiful story about mothers.

A baby asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”

“Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

The child further inquired, “But tell me, here in heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.”

God said, “Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel’s love and be very happy.”

Again the child asked, “And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don’t know the language?”

God said, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”

“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?”

God said, “Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”

“Who will protect me?”

God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.”

“But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.”

God said, “Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.”

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”

“You will simply call her, ‘Mom.'”
