Follow the Karmic Path

Follow the Karmic Path-Click Picture To Read ArticleKarma, or the law of action, is part of the scope of the superior laws of The Universe. It is not punishment, as most believe, but awareness and expansion of consciousness that manifests in our lives through direct experience. Karma is a collection of lessons we came to learn in this lifetime. As a superior law, karma has 12 sub laws that may facilitate the understanding of such a complex concept. Enjoy this teaching.

1 – The Great Law: We harvest what we plant. It is the aspect of cause and effect. Many religions acknowledge this aspect of Karma through the practice of the golden Rule. Do into others what you wish to be done unto you.

2 – Law of Creation: Life does not just happen – it requires our participation and interaction. We are intimately connected to The Universe both inside, and outside of ourselves. Everything that happens outside of you has an origin in your internal world. We must make happen inside, what we desire to manifest outside.

3 – Law of Humility: Whatever we refuse to accept will continue to exist in our reality. The world will always continue to reflect our internal realities, much like a mirror image of ourselves.

4 – The Law of Growth: Wherever we go, there we will be. To grow in Spirit we must be willing to change ourselves, not the people around us. When we change inside, the reality changes outside. The eye of the observer changes the reality of that which is observed.

5 – Law of Responsibility: Every time there is something wrong outside, there is something out of alignment inside of us. We need to take responsibility for the intensity of our feelings and the way we react, instead of just acting. Mastership of our actions and emotions can greatly improve our internal and external condition to live in peace.

6 – Law of Connection: Even when something comes to manifest in our world that seems to be disconnected with our reality, we must understand that everything in The Universe is connected. Each stage of life is directly connected with the next stage. Past, present and future are all one when we are expressing our internal world through correct action.

7 – Law of Focus: We can’t focus in two different realities at the same time. This is described in the Christian Bible where it says that a person cannot serve two masters. When our focus is to improve ourselves spiritually, we can’t cultivate habits, thoughts and feelings that are not in the same vibrational frequency of the intended level we are determined to reach.

8 – The Law of Giving: If we believe something is truthful and benevolent, we will be called to be examples of that truth. This is the equivalent of saying that a person must “walk their talk”. Teaching by example, and giving honest testimony of our truth is part of the scope of karmic patterns.

9 – The Law of Now: When we concentrate on past actions, constantly reevaluating facts and circumstances, we are impeded from looking into our present reality with clarity of purpose. Old systems of belief, old thought patterns, and old desires and dreams hamper new perspectives. You cannot expect to gather different results when you are continuously doing the same things. There is no future in the past!

10 – Law of Change: Impermanence is a valuable concept. Nothing stays the same. Nevertheless, history will repeat itself until a karmic lesson is learned. Reality will change in its conceptual form when we assimilate the teaching, and amplify our consciousness and understandings.

11 – Law of the Patient Reward: All rewards are the fruit of continual, constant work. Nothing manifests out of nothing in a material universe. Persistence, tolerance, and fortitude are vital when working toward the liberation of karma. Cultivating these qualities in ourselves is very important, indeed.

12 – Law of Meaning and Inspiration: The value of something in your life will be directly related to the amount of energy and intention applied to it. Each personal contribution to life is also a contribution to the collective. One loving inspiration not only adds meaning to individual existence, but also contributes to the ascension and inspiration of the whole. We are ONE.

Therefore, karma is as eternal as the Universal Self. The interrelation of everything always is. It never begins; it never ceases to be.

Time and Karma!

karma lesson
I have learned that when people hurt me it benefits me to walk away and work on my forgiveness. Some see this as weakness. I see it as leaving the negative behind me and letting Karma work it out.

In today’s fast paced world it’s hard for people to wait for anything and with karma more than likely you will have to wait to see what happens. Karma is not delivered instantly, but it works slowly and steadily. You can be guaranteed that everyone reaps what they sow. Sometimes it may not happen in this lifetime. Reincarnation can often be the result of karma. If you did not complete what you were supposed to in this lifetime you may come back to clear up your karmic past.

It is easy for others to call someone out on their problems but in reality they are battling those same demons. That’s why it’s important not to have a judgmental attitude because you have no idea what the other person is going through. Karma has its own timing and you may not see what happens, but karma always comes back. That’s why it’s important to think and do good in your life. It does not matter what someone else is doing it all comes down to you!

Are You a Judge and the Jury? By Cherokee Billie

judges-gavel
How many times do you find yourself judging another person? For example you see someone extremely overweight and you judge that person as having no willpower. How do you know what that person has gone through and what extreme willpower they truly have? They may have obstacles in their life that you cannot even imagine and yet you are ready to condemn them. So not only have you become a judge you are also the jury sentencing this person as useless. Why do you think all of the great masters have taught not to be judgmental? Maybe they knew something that you do not.

Look at a teaching by Jesus in which he states, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Think about that for a moment. You are going to be judged equally for every judgment you dish out. This is a spiritual request and you can either follow it or ignore it. The choice is up to you. Just remember eventually all of your judgments will come back to you. This is another version of the law of Karma.

I have been judged many times in my life by others who do not know me, and yet they are ready to pass judgment on my person, thoughts, and spiritual beliefs. One of the lessons I have learned is that the good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.

The teaching of loving others including your enemies comes into play here. You need to change your way of thinking and start making a different set of rules for yourself. To change your Karma Pray for those you do not love or even like, and especially your enemies, because your prayers are going to bless you as well as them.

We are all different peoples, and we are not perfect. This is why we need help from the Divine Spirit because we are not perfect and we will make mistakes. The Divine Spirit loves us even in our most terrible actions. Now if we can just emulate that think of how much the world would change for the better. Let go of judgment and stop being a jury.

Sex is a Spiritual Gift

by Cherokee Billie
There is nothing to compare with being in love and the person loving you equally. When this occurs it is magic and nothing compares with when you look into each others eyes and share this most beautiful gift together. You know that your spirits have joined together as you become one.

Sex is a beautiful gift from the Creator for us to enjoy as a communion of spirits and physical pleasure for each other. Jesus spoke about this in a teaching, “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female. ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” Many times we have heard this last passage at wedding ceremonies, not realizing that there is a bonding that is taken place and it is a spiritual one.

Because sex is a spiritual joining it is not to be taken lightly. Throughout history adultery and fornication have been common place. What is often overlooked is that each time you have sex with someone your spirits are joining together. Even if it was just a casual one night stand there was a spiritual exchange.

It’s very important to protect your spiritual self, not just your physical self, and be thoughtful about your spirituality before you enter into a physical relationship with someone. Many times our sexual desire out weighs our common sense in the moment of feeling a desire for someone. If you can stop for a moment and think about your spiritual self who is far more real than your physical body you may be able to realize that you will be joined spiritually to this person whether you see them again or not. Often this can be the reason that people become obsessed with someone, they are thinking with their physical mind instead of thinking from a spiritual perspective. Many people like to throw caution to the wind and just go for it. I am not condemning sex by any means, I am trying to make you aware of your spiritual self and what occurs spiritually when you have sexual relations with another person.

As a spiritual advisor I often council people who have become involved with someone who is married and they want to know if that person is going to leave their mate. As much as we push the vows of marriages aside, our spiritual being understands that a true exchange was made. That is why someone wants to know if their married lover is still in love with their mate. There may not be that passionate love, like in the beginning of a relationship, but there’s still a spiritual bonding that has occurred between married people. Before you become involved was someone who is married start thinking about the spiritual bond they have created with another person. How would you feel if someone tried to break a bond you had created with someone? It would be highly unpleasant. If the married person chooses to leave their partner, then you would be free to have a relationship without breaking a bond. Until then you would always be a tortured soul in this three way relationship.

Enjoy the communion of your spirits with your sexual partner and understand that there is much more going on besides the physical pleasure. Above all remember we are not just our bodies, we are spirits that have been created by the Divine Spirit, and even though we live in this third dimension we must strive to focus on our spiritual life in this vehicle called our body.

Let Me Introduce You to My Friend Karma

Karma is the concept of “What goes around comes around.” In other words you reap what you sow; positive actions are going to return to you in a loving and positive way, whereas unloving actions can bite you in the behind. No matter what religious belief you have the law of karma is always present. It is part of our soul experience in this life. This helps you to grow spiritually in a positive way or if you choose the unloving path to have no growth and experience many negative things coming back at you.

Karma is very similar to an impulse. We can choose to act to or not act to on the impulse of the moment. This is why we have free will so that we can choose what we really want in our lives. We are not controlled like puppets by the Divine Spirit; we have the wonderful gift of free will. Being given this gift you need to think carefully as to how you use your free will. It’s amazing how one action can affect many people. One of the major problems people have is they are acting on impulse instead of pausing a few moments and thinking about the consequences.

One of my favorite songs written by John Lennon is called, “Instant Karma,” He writes, “Instant Karma’s gonna get you, Gonna knock you right on the head, You better get yourself together, Pretty soon you’re gonna be dead,
What in the world you thinking of, Laughing in the face of love, What on earth you tryin’ to do, It’s up to you, yeah you.” I feel that Mr. Lennon had the concept down beautifully and if you have not heard this song I recommend you listen to it several times.

As a psychic counselor people often ask why they keep falling in love with the same type of person. The reason is they haven’t learned the lesson and they are going to keep repeating their karmic actions until they wake up and realize it isn’t working. Sometimes karmic action is coming from past lives and we are in our current life to work out what we did not learn in the past life. What ever we do not learn in this life we may be faced with again in another life. It’s important to strive for self growth and be responsible for your actions in this life. This is what shapes your karma.

In physics, Sir Isaac Newton stated in his Third Law of Motion that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Push against a wall and the molecular material is pushing back with equal force. The more positive and loving you are, the more you going to receive it back, and the same for negative and unloving actions. It’s important to think before you act on anything.

If you can control your thought, word, and actions, you become the master and not the helpless victim of karma.

The purest way to live is to let go of our ego and start placing others ahead of ourselves. When that happens you reverse all negative karma from past lives and present and will find true contentment. Think of how peaceful contentment is. Let us live our lives in peace and we will never have to worry about our karmic actions ever again.

“Everybody comes from the same source. If you hate another human being, you’re hating part of yourself.” —Elvis Presley
