Do Your Dying Loved Ones Hear Your Last Words?

Our etheric bodies surround our physical bodies like an outline

Hearing Is The Last Sense To Go!

As a Spiritual Advisor and Ordained Minister I have been working with people in hospice and their families for many years. My job is to help those who are dying and unconscious to understand the process that they’re going through and to give them peace and remove any fears they may have. For those that are unconscious I communicate with their spirit and most of the time they are already in the spirit world and just waiting for their bodies to shut down. What is helpful in communicating with the unconscious is I’m able to tell their loved ones what they have to say and what they need to hear.

One of the main questions I have received from clients over the years is if their loved one heard what they were saying when they were dying. The answer is YES. As I stated having communicated with people who are in a coma or unconscious I have learned that they do hear everything that is being said to them. This can be of great comfort to the families and friends who want them to know that they care.

I have always received answers from the deceased loved ones that they heard everything that was said to them in their last moments. Hearing is the last of the senses to go. So it’s important to keep your words positive and loving to someone who is in the process of dying. Those words will go with them to the other side.

Continue talking to those that you love when they are in a coma, unconscious, drifting in and out of life because they will here and take with them what you had to say. When you meet again they will be able to tell you what you said in those last moments.

Also after they have passed they do hear what you have to say. So keep talking because they are listening.

If you would like help with a loved one who is in the final stages of life contact me and I will be able to communicate for both of you. This is a very special process that I do and I personally think it’s one of the most rewarding.

Remember I can help you talk to your deceased loved ones directly through my guided journey into spirit.

Spring Equinox/Ostara March 20, 2017

In the Northern Hemisphere, we mark the Spring Equinox also known as Ostara on March 20

A lovely quotation from Chief Sitting Bull on spring. “Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!

March has roared in like a lion, and if we’re really lucky, it will roll out like a lamb. It’s the time of the vernal equinox if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, and it’s a true marker that Spring has come.

The Wheel of the Year – Occurs on or near the Spring Equinox, when day and night are equal. It is a time of balance where unnecessary things, thoughts and habits are thrown away to make room for the new.

Another name for the Spring Equinox is Ostara. The feel-good factor about this day, however, is that the first official astrological day of spring hints that high temperatures are not far off.

As the winter ends traditionally Native American people celebrate their thanks with prayers for surviving the bitter, cold days and the struggles they had to overcome. With spring everyone begins to enjoy the bounties of the earth once more, as plants and animals show new life again. The land turns green, wildlife flourishes and people are filled with anticipation for the coming of summer, the time of harvest.

It’s important to remember that the dawning of spring has been observed for a long time in many other cultures as well. Traditions vary widely from one country to the next.  March 20 also welcomes Ostara which is celebrated in spring season as a way to honor the richness and wealth that Mother Nature has brought to humans and creatures. Spring is considered as the period of growth, happiness and love. In this time of a year, everything is woken up from winter and they are full of vitality.

Springtime is a wonderful season to celebrate with much merriment and shared feasts, as families gather together, dancing and enjoying the gifts of the land. Just as those in ancient times find a reason to give thanks for being here another day. Do something special to honor the fact that you are still here. Celebrations and rituals are important in our spiritual walk.

It is a time to offer thanks in prayers, celebrations and gratitude to the Great Creator who is watching and filling those who care with blessings.

What are you planting in your garden this spring? Find out in my Springtime Reading.

Neverland Mala Beads

Mala Beads2

My dear friend Jacinta makes handmade jewelry and spiritual items. This lovely prayer mala is available for sale at her store. Please take a moment and check out not only this item but all the others that she hand makes.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

From Jacinta:
When I think of Neverland, I think of Peter Pan, Michael Jackson, joy, happiness, youth, childhood, exuberance, playfulness, sunshine, laughter, smiles….Life. With a capital L. Life as it should be lived and enjoyed. That was my intention when creating the Neverland mala; to inspire people to live Life as they want it. A Life well Lived.

The Neverland mala is made up of 106 green wooden beads and two rudraksha beads, making it a traditional 108 bead mala. It also features a Tiger’s eye guru bead, strung on hemp with a hemp tassel and a star in the neck. Green is the colour of hope and health, rudraksha are the oldest prayer beads on the planet and are said to increase clarity and bring peace. Tiger’s Eye is known for removing fear and anxiety and promoting joy and happiness. So just follow the second star to the right and straight on till morning…off to Neverland

What is a mala?

A mala is a set of beads to be used for meditation and prayer, but it can also double as a necklace. A mala is not a toy to be played with. When you hold your mala, turn it by using your thumb and middle finger. Holding the mala in your hand turn each bead with your thumb and middle finger. Once you go around all 108 beads, you arrive at the beginning and at the guru bead, and this is not a bead to be counted. You have reached 108 and are finished. Take a deep breath and relax.

Why 108?

108 is a very significant number all throughout the ages. No matter your tradition and belief. Some affiliate 108 with something in their religion, others do not. I think 108 is a magical number and you may disagree. The meaning of 108 is open to interpretation, which is pretty cool anyway.

Saint Patrick’s Day—what is Fact and what is Myth

St Patrick Day Photo

Most of us associate Saint Patrick’s Day with green beer, leprechauns, pots of gold, shamrock’s, and a chance to let go and party. So here is a bit of information about this day that you may not have known.

St. Patrick’s Day started as a small, religious holiday in Ireland. And believe it or not, for the first nearly six decades, bars had to stay closed because the holiday falls during Lent.

The law was lifted in 1961; and now, 13 million pints of Guinness are sold around the world on March 17th.

Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.  He is credited with bringing Christianity to the Irish.

He lived in the 5th century, which is like 16 centuries ago.

The shamrock became part of the celebration, when it was said that Saint Patrick would use them to describe the Holy Trinity to children.

Here are some infographics I found that share all kinds of awesome stuff about all things Irish and green.

The lack of wisdom behind Daylight Savings Time.

daylight savings time

I love the wisdom of the statement by this Human Being. From the time I was little I found that whenever the time changed in the year it would throw off my body. Of course I didn’t understand quite what it was doing when I was a child. As an adult I really started understanding how much it affected me body rhythm and it usually takes me about a month to achieve a state of balance once again.

Daylight saving time (DST) is a change in the standard time with the purpose of getting better use of the daylight by having the sun rise one hour later in the morning and set one hour later in the evening. Although it has only been used in the past hundred years.

I remember in the early 1970’s when there was an energy/fuel crisis and for a few years they stopped the time change. That’s when I realized fully how much the time change was affecting my body. I felt a lot better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I never understood why they implemented it once again.

It’s often been said because it helps farmers. Farmers are going to get up whenever the sun comes up no matter what the clock says.

Perhaps the intelligence behind these time changes understands that it throws off people’s natural body clock. I feel they want to keep people from their natural feelings.

I wonder how many other people go through what I feel when the time changes? I would appreciate if you would let me know what you think about it.

Thank you for reading my opinion on daylight savings time.

How does this affect you?

Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
