Where Does The Soul Go After Death?

By Cherokee Billie.

It will go to wherever your mind pulls it. Remember, your existence is held together by your thoughts.

If you believe that you will either go to heaven or hell; that will be what happens for you.

If you believe that you will be joined with others spirits that will be what happens.

If you believe that you will be in the presence of the Divine Spirit; it will be so.

If you believe you will be greeted by family and friends that will be your experience.

If you believe in nothing, that becomes your reality.

Your thoughts create your experiences after this life, regardless of the dimension, plane, or reality in which your soul exists. After a period of acclimation, you may “wake up” from this experience.

Or, you may be subject to your spiritual leaders who automatically make the decision for you of where you need to go next. Your participation in the creation of your after life depends upon how willing you are to be responsible for your Self.

If you are adventuresome in life, you may want to experience this type of physical death. What may seem painful and traumatic to others may be exactly what you need and want to experience.

Perhaps you choose a dramatic exit to be remembered. Sometimes the quietest individual chooses to make a statement in this way. What could not be said in life is said in death.

Oftentimes those that have lived a life larger than the average person will go very peacefully and quietly into the spirit world.

You have a lot of control about where your soul goes after you die. Think about this and start living your life NOW in the way that will help you get to where you want to go in the Spirit World.

Are Murder Victims Ghosts?

By Cherokee Billie.

The answer is sometimes. Murders that go unsolved often leave the victim (ghost) with the desire for the truth to come out. They want closure for their family and friends. They want to move on into the spirit realm, but feel they cannot until their murderer has been identified and received Karmic or judicial punishment.

When a murderer has been caught immediately, it allows the spirit of the victim to be released and ascend into the spirit world. This is the big difference between solved and unsolved murders. As a psychic medium I have been communicating with the deceased for many years. Most of the people who contact me just want to know how their loved one is and if they have any messages for them. Over the years I have had several individuals’ contact me who wanted to know how their loved one died and who did it. This is not always an easy task. Sometimes the murdered spirit comes quickly and communicates a great deal of information. Other times the spirit cannot tell what happened because it happened quickly or the memory of the event has left them. Many things get tangled for spirits because they are living between two different dimensions. A part of their spirit is still connected to our world and another part is connected to the spirit world.

Perhaps you have seen movies where the spirit cannot understand that they are dead or that they are waiting to identify the killer. So much of these movies are really based on spiritual truth. We do not get instant knowledge when we pass into the spirit world. There are also ghost hunter television programs where they offer information about victims in haunted houses and historical places. Many spirits remain on battlefields still fighting the other spirits.

One year ago I was contacted by a lady whose son was 31 years old and ruled a suicide by the police. She could not accept this because he was a happy content man and she had just seen him that day and he was fine. She asked me if I could channel his spirit, so she could ask questions about that day. After a few minutes I was able to connect with his spirit and he told her that he did not kill himself and gave identification about who had killed him. He was not able to answer every question that she asked, but apparently it was sufficient information for her. She took the information I got and contacted a private detective who started investigating all of the police findings. It turned out that many of the things that I had received in the trance medium state had been accurate. How I know is a year later she contacted me again and told me about the help the messages had been for her about his murder. She wanted me to ask her departed son more questions and I asked if she could send me any and all photographs of the crime scene. She did.

I told her that I wanted a few days to study these pictures and see what messages came through. As soon as I got the pictures I telephoned her and said,” Isn’t it interesting to see where the bullet hole went in.” She said, “What are you talking about?” I told her that it was quite obvious that it was a bullet hole and gun powder around the hole in the photograph. Once I pointed it out to her she was shocked that all of these police and detective people never noticed this. She had not either. “I cannot enlarge this picture. Is it possible you could send it again or have somebody else send it to me.” She had her grandson send the pictures to me again. One picture was particularly unusual because it was where her son was murdered and it was not a pleasant picture because it had blood and brain tissue all over the wheel of his truck. What confused me was of all the pictures there was one where a man was standing at the base of this wheel. It was impossible for anyone to stand in this position. I begin to dream about these pictures over the next week. At last we had our channeled session together. My first question to her was about the picture of the man at the wheelbase. She said, “There is no picture with a man in front of the tire wheel. What are you talking about?”

We were both on the internet together and I said, “Let me send this picture to you so you can see what I am talking about.”

I sent the picture to her and she said, “I don’t see anybody in this picture I only see the wheel.”

Dumbfounded, because I could clearly see a man right next to this wheel, which I knew would be impossible for anyone to be standing by. I decided to try a different way to send the picture. Once again I sent the picture. “Cherokee Billie I don’t see anything here other than the wheel,” she stated.

“Let me describe this man to you.” I told her. “He has on a black tee shirt and has short straight reddish brown hair and I can only see a quarter of his face and body.”

“Oh my god that’s exactly how my son looked.” I could tell that she was crying at this point. “Why can’t I see him and you can?”

“I believe he is indicating what I have always said that this is where the gunshot went into the wheel. He seems to be acknowledging that to me as I speak. There’s no way someone could be in this physical position at the bottom of a tire wheel. Again he wants you to know he did not kill himself. I wish you could be here in front of my monitor and see what I am seeing.”

“I wish I was there too.” She said. She then went on about the rest of the photographs that were taken at the scene of the crime and asked about different people in the photograph. Her son communicated that the two killers were there in the photograph and which ones they were. I had received information in our last channeled session that he was killed because of a connection on the internet. He had videotaped his monitor of what he was seeing just before he was killed. I have requested that she send this videotape to me because it’s possible that I will see or hear something that she cannot. I know that the answers I have given her have helped not only her have connection with her son, but it has helped the investigation.

This is one of the most fascinating changelings I have ever done. I have received information from murder victims before and it has helped their family, but this one keeps getting a wider scope and seems to be more complicated than the others which were usually murders over jealousy or random acts of violence.

So as you can see from these sessions murder victims can often communicate about what happened as best they can. They want to do this so that their spirit can transcend completely into the spirit world.

There are some exceptions where the spirits want to stay because they cannot accept their death. These are the ones that need to be helped pass into spirit and not stay trapped. There are ways to do this as I have learned over the years.

If you ever encounter a ghost realize they might have something to say and if you listen you may be able to help. Not all ghosts are violent and often they are just looking for someone to acknowledge them. Just because they have died does not mean that they have completed what they needed to do or say before going into the light. You may be the one that helps them transcend completely into the light.

It’s the Autumn Equinox!

Twice a year, during the earth’s orbit around the sun, we experience equal amounts of daylight and nighttime as the sun crosses over the equator. In the Spring, we call it Vernal Equinox, and every Fall in September it goes by the name of Autumnal Equinox.

But Autumnal Equinox is much more than marking the season before the nights get longer and the leaves change color, soon to parachute from branches to the ground below. Equinox, meaning “equal night”, has its share of folklore and tradition as well. Some are rooted in mythology, others are more grounded and carry their tradition to this day. Those surrounding Autumnal Equinox included the following:

One of eight Wiccan festivals that honor nature, Called Sabbats, falls near this date in September.

In Greek mythology, Persephone (formerly named Kore) returns to the Underworld on Autumnal Equinox to live with her husband, Hades, for half a year after living on Earth with her mother, Demeter, starting at Vernal Equinox.

Mabon, the Witch’s Thanksgiving, was a Welsh god and the male “counterpart” to the Persephone myth. Taken from his mother while only days old, Mabon gestates in the womb of Modron (the Great Mother) waiting to be reborn.

Higan (meaning “the other shore”—nirvana), a Buddhist memorial service, occurs around the time of Autumnal Equinox (as well as Vernal Equinox), for seven days and serves to comfort ancestral spirits with loved ones visiting family graves.

Michaelmas, the Christian holiday honoring the Archangel Michael, has pagan roots in Autumnal Equinox—end of harvest time, the marking of shorter days and longer nights, as well as the expulsion of Lucifer from Heaven by Archangel Michael.

Clearly, this time of year has a variety of cultural observances spread around the world, diverse in custom, yet united in season. This September, when experiencing one of the biannual “balancings of nature”, remember the multitude of celebrations that share the advent of Autumn.

Your Love Was What I Needed

The outpouring from all of you has helped me realize that my blog serves a purpose. I knew that a few people still read it, but I had no idea how many really did read it on a regular basis. The message from Roswana really touched me. Roswana I had no idea you had been following me since the beginning of my blog. Your message made me cry.

I realize that most of you do not always have time to post a comment, but I now understand that just reading my messages helps you. This is what I needed to know. Trust me I did not make the decision quickly about stopping my blog. I have been considering it for many months. After all of your messages I feel revitalized and will continue to post messages.

My energy is very low because of health problems and I have to do so many different things to keep my business going because I do everything myself. Some days it becomes overwhelming and I don’t know how I will do the next thing. That is the reason I stopped my radio program. That was just more stress that I did not need on a weekly basis. Not only that but the people that I speak with, as a psychic, usually have severe problems and it takes a toll on my health hearing so many sad stories daily. I do not mind the work that I do and in fact I love it, because the feedback I get from people about my helping them in their life is the best reward there is. It’s just I am battling many things at one time.

Thank you for your comments and letting me know the value of this blog. I appreciate each message you posted and send you love, angels, and a multitude of blessings.

With love,
Cherokee Billie

Remember The Five Simple Rules To Be Happy: Free Your Heart From Hatred. Free Your Mind From Worries. Live Simply. Give More. Expect Less.

A Sioux Story

The Creator gathered all of Creation and said: “I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality.”

The eagle said, “Give it to me, I will take it to the moon.”

The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”

The salmon said, “I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.”

“No. They will go there too.”

The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”

The Creator said, “They will cut into the skin of the Earth and find it even there.”

Grandmother Mole, who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees with spiritual eyes, said, “Put it inside of them.”

And the Creator said, “It is done.”

Nut Full Moon Date: Monday, September 12, 2011

Names Given to the Moon by Other Cultures:
Colonial American: Harvest Moon
Chinese: Chrysanthemum Moon
Native American(Cherokee): Nut Moon

This full Moon is the Cherokee “Nut Moon” or the Celtic “Singing Moon.” Watch it rise as the Sun sets.

The corn harvest referred to as “Ripe Corn Festival” also known as the “Nut Moon” [spoken “Nv-da u-da-ta-nv” in Cherokee], was customarily held in the early part of this moon to acknowledge Selu the spirit of the corn. Selu is thought of as First Woman. The festival respects Mother Earth as well for providing all foods during the growing season. The “Brush Feast Festival” also customarily takes place in this season. All the fruits and nuts of the bushes and trees of the forest were gathered as this time. A wide variety of nuts from the trees went into the nut breads for the various festivals throughout the seasons. Hunting traditionally began in earnest at this time.

Nut was the goddess of the sky and all heavenly bodies, a symbol of protecting the dead when they enter the after life. According to the Egyptians, the heavenly bodies—such as the sun and moon—would make their way across her body. Then, at dusk or dawn, they would be swallowed, pass through her belly during the night or day, and be reborn.

The moon continues to fascinate us with all of its mysteries.

Alan Jackson 9/11 Song still Resonates with Fans.

Los Angeles Times

Country singer Alan Jackson has been tapped to perform his post-Sept. 11 song “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)” at the Concert for Hope at the Washington National Cathedral on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

President Barack Obama will speak at the event, which will culminate a week of observances to commemorate the anniversary.

Jackson introduced the song about two months after the attacks, during the Country Music Association Awards telecast from Nashville, Tenn., singing what amounted to a string of questions without easy answers.

Did you weep for the children who lost their dear loved ones / And pray for the ones who don’t know? Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble / And sob for the ones left below?

The vast majority of Jackson’s repertoire up to that point, and pretty much since, had consisted of songs about love, the joys and sorrows of small-town life, the hopes, dreams and struggles of working people.

“I find I generally don’t like songs where people express their political views,” the soft-spoken Georgia native said not long after he had written it and started singing it in public.

“And this one isn’t political. It’s still pretty simple.”

He said he’d had a sleepless night shortly after the attacks, woke up with a head full of questions, and then fashioned them into the song.

“I felt like I was just reporting,” Jackson said, “asking the kinds of questions anybody might ask.”

Did you feel guilty ’cause you’re a survivor / In a crowded room did you feel alone? Did you call up your mother and tell her you loved her? Did you dust off that Bible at home?

In fact, he said he was initially hesitant about the song in a couple of ways. First, he was reluctant to take on such a loaded issue.

After writing it, Jackson wasn’t sure he ought to play it in public. “I didn’t want it to look like I was trying to sell my career with this” tragedy, he said. But family members and friends persuaded him otherwise.

Last year, when Jackson had his star added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he was asked whether he still plays “Where Were You.” He said he’s been surprised by how many people continue to request it in concert, long after the shock of the events of that day subsided.

Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers / Did you stand in line and give your own blood? Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family / Thank God you had somebody to love?

“I don’t know where it came from,” Jackson said. “It’s like one of my favorite things Hank Williams said when he was asked about where he got his songs. He said, ‘I just hold the pen — God writes the song.’ That’s how I feel about this one.”
