Hunters’ Full Moon October 18, 2013

OCT 18 Full Moon
The Hunter’s Moon is the full moon after the Harvest Moon. The full moon on October 18-19 is the Northern Hemisphere’s Hunter’s Moon. If you’re prone to tilt your head and howl at the moon, like the great hunters the coyotes, October 18 will be the only night this month when the moon will be visible in the sky all night long. Just be mindful of the neighbors when you howl!

As for Halloween night, the moon, if visible at all will be just a thin sliver, adding to the mystery of the night.

To the Native Americans full moons were a way to keep track of the seasons and make appropriate preparations for survival. Besides, with falling leaves and the fattening of wild game, also preparing for winter, who could argue that this month’s moon signaled a good time to go hunting.

As the moon rises in the east at dusk (Friday, October 18) in the continental United States, the lunar disk will be partially covered over by the Earth’s faint penumbral shadow. But you’re very unlikely to notice any shading at all on the moon’s surface. Europe and Africa will be in a better position to see the subtle penumbral eclipse because the lunar eclipse takes place at late night (instead of evening or morning twilight). For the most of Asia, the moon will be in eclipse as its sets at sunrise tomorrow (Saturday, October 19). Be forewarned. The moon does not dip into the Earth’s dark umbral shadow during this eclipse, so – at best – the partial penumbral eclipse may be seen as a slight shading of the moon’s southern limb.

Some say it is unlucky to sleep in the light of the moonlight, but I disagree. I relish it. I imagine that I am drawing down her beauty and energy to store it and draw upon as needed.

The full moon is always a good time to pray, have ceremonies, and be reminded of the continuation of life. Enjoy my friends.

Many blessings,

Spiritual Awakenings October 16, 2013

It was a great program and I want to give a special thanks to my host Drew Pillow Who really made this program delightful. You can listen to it anytime you want to by clicking on the link. Click Here For Program Details.

During this time of a great awakening, many people are searching for information regarding the paranormal, their spirituality, and even the existence of the spirit world as evidenced through the increase of television shows, radio shows, internet websites, articles, books, and movies that addresses this heightened interest and stimulates what I like to call open-minded skepticism. Because of this increasing awareness, I can help to alleviate fears and can shed light on the very real and active spirit world.

On this special program with Drew Pillow I will discuss my work which includes, but is not limited to psychic readings, channeling the deceased, guided meditations into the spirit world, and astral projections as well as giving advice for solving relationship problems.

My answers come to me through images and hearing directly from my angels, guides, and the Great Spirit. I do not use any psychic tools such as tarot cards or pendulums. My gifts have been with me since birth and made themselves known at an early age. I started seeing Auras around people when I was fifteen years old, but I had no idea what they were. It wasn’t until many years later through metaphysics that I learned what it was I had been seeing all that time. I began my spiritual quest in the late 1970s and studied in a metaphysical school. I gave my first official reading in 1983 and have been using my gifts since then.

As a teacher of spiritual reality, I have been able to bring the spirit world into existence for many people especially my clients. I have published numerous articles on various topics and have made many of these articles into videos that can be seen on YouTube.

You’ll learn a great deal about me during this program and you can call in with your questions. I look forward to your being there with Drew and me.

Remember this program will be available at any time you want to listen to it in the future.

Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie

Happy World Smile Day October 07, 2013

smile Mother
On World Smile Day I encourage big smiles and kind acts of any size. For we know that one smile begets another and one get kind act begets another. I pray that starting this year and for many years to come the dedication of one day to smiles and kind acts will beget many more days each year, also dedicated to smiles and kind acts. The cynics will tell you that no good deed goes unpunished. But that is not true and it never was. A good deed, however small, is an act of faith in humanity. It is its own reward. Share this quote with friends today and pass along a smile! Have a wonderful week!

Remembering Michael Jackson Four Years Later

Remembering Michael Jackson Four Years Later-tribute
June 25, 2013 marks four years since Michael Jackson passed into spirit. Michael Jackson brought so much joy to so many people and will always be remembered as one of the greatest entertainers ever. Rejoice in the fact that he was with us for 50 years. His spirit will always live on through his music, dance, writing, and inspiration. I know that you are dancing and singing with the angels! I have enclosed a special message that was written by a beautiful lady as a dedication to Michael. Many blessings, Cherokee Billie

I’m Sorry For Loving A Man… By © Jacinta Feyling

“I’m sorry my tattoo says “Michael Jackson 1958 – Forever” and not “I love Michael Jackson – Please give me crap” as so many people seem to think it does.

I’m sorry I let you walk by me wearing shirts with Iron Maiden, Metallica and the like and I do not comment on those.

I’m sorry for not badmouthing you when you brag about having been to a concert with Bruce Springsteen or any other singer.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was forced to go on trial by a racist District Attorney who was determined to bring him down, no matter what, and who even faked the evidence in an attempt to bring him down.

I’m sorry for loving a man who during his trial was bullied by the media while the so-called “victims” were caught repeatedly lying under oath.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was found “Not Guilty” and was never convicted of any crime in spite of Herculean attempts and a witch hunt which spanned for more than a decade.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was under investigation by the FBI for more than 20 years and was found to be innocent and not guilty of anything illegal.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was raised in the spotlight and sacrificed his childhood to please the world with music and art.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was hounded by filthy paparazzi and media personalities who to this day call themselves “serious reporters”.

I’m sorry for loving a man who revolutionized the music video medium.

I’m sorry for loving a man who broke the racial barrier on MTV.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was and still is personally responsible for cutting the number of people starving to death in half in the 1980’s and 90’s because of one song.

I’m sorry for loving a man who created the album which to this day ranks as the Number One Album of All Time.

I’m sorry for loving a man who saw the beauty of Creation in every animal and human being.

I’m sorry for loving a man who said, and I quote: “I would slit my wrists before I would hurt a child”.

I’m sorry for loving a man whom his daughter called: “…the best father you could ever imagine.”

I’m sorry for loving a man who granted sick children their final wish; a day of joy and laughter, in his magnificent garden.

I’m sorry for loving a man who repeatedly stated: “I believe in God, very much.”

I’m sorry for loving a man who was a shining Biblical example of how we should treat each other: with love, respect and dignity.

I’m sorry for loving a man who shouted to his fans “I love you MORE”

I’m sorry for loving a man who simply wanted to be loved all over the world, everywhere he went.

I’m sorry for loving a man who during a 16-month long worldwide tour purchased a piece of equipment to each children’s hospital in every city he went to in 15 countries.

I’m sorry for loving a man who said: “I would like to be remembered as a person who came and brought light to the world, some escapism, also as a voice for the voiceless children, because I love them.”

I’m sorry for loving a man who in the middle of a concert called out to security to remove a bug off of the stage floor so he wouldn’t step on it.

I’m sorry for loving a man who wanted to please the media by changing his appearance, only to learn that they bullied him even more fiercely than before.

I’m sorry for loving a man who proclaimed to the world that “Love is the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation.”

I’m sorry for loving a man who donated more than 300 million dollars to charities around the globe, to ensure that unfortunate children and families were given a second chance in life.

I’m sorry for loving a man who was remembered by co-workers as “an absolute sweetheart and just a good guy”

I’m sorry for loving a man who brought together people regardless of gender, color or creed, because of his music and art.

I’m sorry for loving a man who, according to his own mother, danced already as a baby in diapers to the rickety beat of the washing machine.

I’m sorry for loving a man who experienced years of being beaten by his own father, and having to go through life never receiving a compliment or a kind word from him, and who chose to forgive him because, as he said: ”…he’s the only father I’ve got.”

And most of all, I’m deeply sorry for loving a man whose only crime was to want to heal the world with a love so pure it scared people who didn’t recognize it.

And I’m sorry that this man, Michael Jackson, has brought more life, joy, happiness and truth to my life than any other human being ever has.”

Thank you Jacinta Feyling for allowing me to share your thoughts about Michael Jackson. Feel free to add your comments about Michael.

Super Moon World Peace Prayers

Moon
Please join with others around the globe in holding prayers for our world at 8:00 PM in your time zone on super full moon June 23, 2013.

Astronomers call this sort of close full moon a perigee full moon. The word perigeedescribes the moon’s closest point to Earth for a given month. Two years ago, when the closest and largest full moon fell on March 19, 2011, many used the term supermoon, which we’d never heard before. Last year, we heard this term again to describe the year’s closest full moon on May 6, 2012. Now the term supermoon is being used a lot. Last month’s full moon – May 24-25, 2013 – was also a supermoon. But the June full moon is even more super! In other words, the time of full moon falls even closer to the time of perigee, the moon’s closest point to Earth. The crest of the moon’s full phase in June 2013, and perigee, falls within an hour of each other.

Synchronized prayers are very powerful! Full moons have historically been a time of release, and a time of letting go of darkness and negative patterns. Please circulate and share this prayer vigil widely. The more people praying the more powerful our prayers’ effects. Always pray for Mother Earth and others.

Many blessings, Cherokee Billie

Happy Father’s Day! What Is A Dad?

fatherly love
A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.

Happy Father’s Day to All Fathers Living and in Spirit!
