Prayers for Dallas

Large tealights in Mason Jars to line a walkway

I have sent up prayers for the victims, casualties, and families of those involved in the Dallas shootings. What the world needs is more love and less hate. Nothing positive is ever accomplished through mindless acts of violence. Please continue to pray for everyone.

America has gone through many turbulent times. 1968 was one of the most violent years in American history. There were riots are over race, the war, and the upcoming election. Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy were assassinated. Both were men of peace.

It seems that people do not learn from history. So I’m giving a brief rundown of one of the most tumultuous times in American history in hopes that it will make people aware that Violence and hatred solves nothing and eventually things do work out. I think the biggest lesson people need to learn is to have more love in their hearts, a little patience, a lot more faith, carry out random acts of kindness, and to be on their knees in prayer.

I pray for America,
Cherokee Billie

I leave you with one of the greatest speeches ever given on The Mindless Acts Of Violence by Robert Kennedy.

Are we becoming one of the violent countries in the world?America? Violence breeds violence. Hate breeds hate. Love breeds love. “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace” Jimi Hendrix I pray with you, Billie for all.

    • Yes, it is quite true we are all Children of God. Our souls do not have color. People tend to forget that they are souls before they are human. When we die we return to being a spirit/soul. What we do on this planet has an impact on the world. People tend to forget that. I do believe that America is in the same stage as it was in 1968. If you remember all the riots around the political conventions in Chicago. I believe we will see more acts of violence throughout the summer. I agree with what Jimi Hendrix said. Many blessings, Cherokee Billie

  3. Seems like the only time there will be peace, is when we all destroy each other. Blessings for Dallas.

    • Sometimes it certainly feels this way. I know that you live in a very violent country and see a great deal of things similar to America. All we can do is continue sending out the light and doing our best to change our little part of the world. Many blessings, Cherokee Billie ❤
