Happy Earth Day April 22

jfk

This year marks 46 years since Earth day has been honored. It’s important to give back to mother earth as we, the human race, have done so much to destroy her natural patterns and rhythms.

If each one of us does something for the earth we can bring about change. Not polluting the planet, not throwing trash into the ocean, polluting the air, destroying forests, killing off animals, these are just some examples of things that we can do to help our planet.

Now that spring has come take some time to go outside and put your feet in the dirt as you will feel a greater connection to this magnificent planet that we so often neglect.

When we become too involved in our day to day life we tend to forget about the earth beneath us that is our true home. So take some time and start giving back to the earth. You will be changing the world one piece at a time.

Interestingly enough, Earth Day this year falls on the same day as this revealing Full Moon April 22, 2016. This is perhaps a sign indicating it’s finally time to see what’s really happening to our planet and do our small part to turn things around?

On Earth Day… Walk barefoot to ground yourself and to connect with Mama Earth.. Give thanks and pour your love into her, make a new commitment to honor her with green practices.

How will you celebrate her on Earth Day?

Many Blessings,
Cherokee Billie

I will fill some little shells with tobacco, place them on the sand, in a heart shape, under the full moon, ingratitude for all that is! Thank you for bringing attention to this time of honoring, Billie! Always love, linda

    • What a beautiful way to celebrate Earth Day! If you can take pictures of it please send them to me. I will be thinking of what you are doing and wishing I was there. I hope everybody plans something to honor Mother Earth. Many blessings, Cherokee Billie
