New Moon December 11, 2015

New Moon2 is a time to embrace change and uncover truth.

It’s hard to believe that this is our last New Moon of the year, and it’s in the wonderful sign of Sagittarius. This year has just flown by.  Sagittarius influence gives our spirit a lot of color and dimension. So, maybe that gives you some idea of how this New Moon might feel!

I’ve got suggestions for how to use this New Moon to your advantage. Let’s go!

This is the Moon of Rest and Beginnings. This New Moon is especially powerful because it falls on the same day as the Winter Solstice. This is a good time to say goodbye to the old and embrace something new. It’s a time to be more creative in your life. Be open to the creativity and allow all the inspiration into your life that this special time brings.

Allow new ideas to take growth. This New Moon is about planting the seeds of what you want to see manifest in your life in the coming New Year.  Write out your intentions for this new cycle. Make a ceremony of some sort. It can be as simple as watching the sunset and sending out your intentions. Lighting a candle. Making a special meal. Embrace the new!  Do something that shows the reverence you have for the Divine Spirit.

This is a wonderful opportunity to let go of all disappointments, regrets, and dissatisfaction from the past year. These energies keep you from moving forward in your life. It’s time to transition into the new you!

The New Moon brings the energy to lead ourselves into better situations and conditions over the next lunar month.

This is a soothing time of rest and planning for new beginnings; New Year, new growth; love, the beginning of or renewing of; bringing things in; regeneration; give thanks. This is a time of new beginnings and new undertakings. It can be a starting point for kicking that bad habit, or simply beginning a project. Put ideas in motion, become engaged, and make long term relationship plans. This is a time of spontaneous and instinctual action. This is a time when efforts will grow visible. Transitions may seem to be accepted more calmly than other phases. This is a good time for hair cuts to promote growth, medical treatments or getting your money’s worth from that facial!

Set new goals and review the old ones to let go of.  Using a Burning Bowl Ceremony can be helpful to releasing the past.  This is a time of change. So do it now!

I have a wonderful Winter Solstice/New Moon Special that can help you on your journey. This is a limited offer so take advantage of this now.  Click Here To Learn More.

  1. Interesting…May 18. was also a New Moon, and you remember what happened to me then…

    • Plant your seeds of intention my dear and watch them grow. I do believe it will be better this coming year for you. Many blessings,. Cherokee Billie

      • How do I plant my seeds of intention? Write them down and place them under my altar cloth, for example? (I could make that a part of my Yule-ritual on Dec21)

        • Definitely writing them down is important and yes, you could place them under your altar cloth. You can also plant them in the ground if possible. The main thing is your intentions. I know that your intentions are sincere and that is what The Spirit looks at. Many blessings, Billie

  2. Thanks Cherokee ( ˘ ³˘)♥

  3. I will be watching the sun set today under a big beautiful oak tree that I call the Tree of Life and writing my intentions from my heart with Love and Gratitude!
Thank you for a very insightful and inspirational Yuletide reading this morning!
I am breathing with the Dolphins 🙂
Much Love and Light for you!

    • Sounds like you are doing a great job for tonight’s new moon. It was a real pleasure doing the yuletide reading for you. So much came through especially about your power animal, the dolphin. And I know you will be breathing and all that positive energy! Many blessings, Cherokee Billie ❤
