Now is the time to take a personal inventory and ask yourself this question: Am I the person I want to be? Am I the person I ought to be? Has anyone ever told you – you ought to be thankful? Well, being told we ought to be thankful rarely causes us to be more thankful. Gratitude happens best when we keep our eyes open to spot real gifts that come our way. When you have lost your way, The Great Spirit will guide you back to your proper path and wisdom.
Yes, it might feel great to win the lottery. Money, houses, travel – these are wonderful, but not enough by themselves. You need the right frame of mind to fully enjoy life. You need the Attitude of Gratitude.
Be Grateful
Life is better when you feel blessed, when you can look around and say “Thank you, God.” Religious or not, when you see life as a wonderful gift, your experience is a richer one than any amount of money can provide. Imagine going through life like you’re a child, and every morning is Christmas.
Be thankful that you are able to breathe on your own without the use of the machine. Be thankful that you can get out of bed without assistance. Be thankful that you can walk, talk, and see. There’s so much to be grateful for every day of your life, it’s just changing your attitude.
It’s tempting to think gratitude comes from having what you want. You see yourself giving thanks if you had money, a loving family, and maybe a house on the beach. Still, you know there are ungrateful, unhappy people with these things, and poor people full of gratitude for what little they have. Where does this feeling come from?
Creating Gratitude
Gratitude arises from how you look at things. It is the natural feeling that comes from truly appreciating the people and things in your life. It is also something you can learn. You’re never too old to start learning how to be grateful.
First, you have to stop and smell the roses. You can’t be thankful for something you don’t notice or enjoy. Roses really do smell great, by the way.
Then, you need to make this appreciative approach to roses and life a habit. There’s no need to ignore the ugliness in the world, but you have to habitually see the beautiful things.
Start writing down every positive thing that happens to you, and all the things you like. I recommend buying a journal just for writing about gratitude. Do this until you start automatically seeing the good things in life. If you’ve ever bought a white car, and started seeing white cars all over, you know how awareness can alter your perception of reality. To see wonderful things all over, train yourself to look for them.
When you are in the habit of “counting your blessings,” gratitude, and a much richer experience of life is the natural result. The Great Spirit Honors you when you count your blessings. You will find you are receiving more out of life then you ever did before once you develop a Gratitude Attitude.
I am grateful that you took the time to read this message.
9 Things to Be Grateful For, Always
There are thousands of things to be grateful for on a regular basis, no matter how difficult or bad things may be. Here is just a list of 10 things to help you remember to be grateful. Gratitude is absolutely one of the essential keys when working with the law of attraction, so use this list on a daily basis and add to it your own list.
1. Be grateful when the sun rises in the morning and shines through your window into your eyes. It’s a sign that you’re alive for yet another wonderful and magnificent day.
2. Be grateful for the broken down car you have that barely runs. It reminds you that there are things to dream about having.
3. Be grateful for the mistakes you make today. These mistakes will shape you into a stronger person tomorrow and allow you to gain knowledge and wisdom you didn’t have before you made that mistake.
4. Be grateful for the love you have in your life. Even if you have absolutely no one in your life right now, be grateful for the friendship and love you have with and from yourself.
5. Be grateful for the flaws you have as a person and an individual. This reminds you that there is always room to grow and develop and advance as a person. Life would be boring and uneventful for those who are perfect.
6. Be grateful for the cold wintry morning as you leave your house. The cold bites at us and reminds us that we are alive, and it gives us a chance to enjoy the site of our breath which also reminds us that we are alive and breathing.
7. Be grateful for the person who stabs you in the back. It reminds you of the people who are always there for you no matter how bad it gets or what goes wrong.
8. Be grateful for the music that gets on your nerves. It reminds you that you still have ears to hear with and a mind to decide what you like and don’t like.
9. Be grateful for the problems you have because it reminds you that you have the ability to solve problems and improve your life in every area of your life.
Simply remember to be grateful, for every single thing. Be grateful for every single moment of your life, and remember that even a sad pathetic life has moments that allow you to experience true joy and beauty.
It’s funny because gratitude has been on my mind the past few days how I need to remind myself about it so thank you for this wonderful article!! I have been in AA many years and this is one of the biggest things I have learned there Gratitude, which I used to not really get but as I learn more and more about things I see what gifts just having gratitude can Bring!!!
What a delight it was to see your blog listed again on your website!!! Thank you Cherokee Billie!!
Love,
Jody
Dear Jody:
I’m glad this message hit home with you. It’s not always easy to be grateful because life can be very hard sometimes, but this is what the Creator wants us to overcome.
People don’t look at anything on my website anymore, they just click on my blog link and keep going. No one reads the testimonials, prayer requests, articles or anything else. the blog is an addition to my website, it should not replace the web site.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Dear Cherokee, I wanted to tell you how much I liked reading the testimonials the other day (it was 2 weeks ago). So inspiring, I saw Saba’s message.. Anastasia.., Heidi..! And seeing everybody’s happiness in contacting loved ones, or just talking to you about difficult times (and how they’re feeling good now) is wonderful!
I’ll never forget how much my friend felt better after you prayed for her!
God bless you always, you’re helping so many and you’re so kind to all
Love,
Mayra
Dear Jody,
My friend friend Buzz was an AA member and long time sober before I met him..he was such a Godsend…
he gave me all the info to be aware for my life with this always a possibility of being a problem..he helped me understand AA and Alanon levels..I am sure he was invaluable in program because he walked it with such
strength and compassion..I am in such honor of the folks really walking the walk in program and definitely a compliment to todays message…it all started for him as a young man and POW in WWII…what a gift he made out
of that experience on so many levels…thanks for sharing…
Sarah
Hello Cherokee and thankyou for this article. I love how you stated “Imagine going through life like you’re a child, and every morning is Christmas.” My younger kids wake up every morning with joy, and they have so much love of the new day. They just can’t wait to expereince what the new day has to offer. They seem to be thankful, and sometimes I tell God thank you, but I should make it were I tell him thanks for the life he has given me with kids and this family everyday. Thank you lord for letting me wake, and to be able to hear the birds chiriping, and the cool breeze blowing my hair.
Hardships sometimes bring me down, but there is always someone who has it worse. Nature and spending time with my kids is the greatest gift. Life is full of lessons and I hope I will learn from them and my own experiences to make me a better person so I can be a good spirit in heaven or the afterlife. Please take care..
ps
I like you pic up above it’s so cheerful to look at
Dear Lisa:
we definitely can learn a lesson from watching the joy in children. This is one of the reasons Michael Jackson loved being around children because no matter what they find a way to create happiness. I’m glad you liked the picture, I wanted something that represented both sad and glad times. We need to be grateful even when things are not going our way.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Since gratitude is the topic here I’m going to mention here what I’m most grateful for. Cherokee Billie has given me my life back. Before I met her, I was lost, utterly alone, miserable and a completely different person from the one I am now. Her website has many lessons to learn for those who want to follow the path of spirituality. I’m very thankful every day of my life for Billie and all she has taught me and will continue to teach me. I can’t imagine life without her. People can I just suggest please that you take some time to READ her articles, prayer requests, etc? There is much to learn and this blog does NOT have all of what she has to teach. Her website is the main resource. Go look people. I believe strongly in this woman for all she has done for me. She has saved my life in so many ways. I have never met another teacher like her and I thank God for every minute that she and I spend together. I am grateful for Cherokee Billie as she is a true gift from God.
Sincerely,
Anastasia
The attitude of gratitude is something that is a work in progress for me:)
My weakness is the (attitude) and I realize that the two go hand in hand.
If I can take on the attitude—overcome negative emotions by turning to the light. Keeping in mind that life is a miracle.
And add the gratitude- to focus on what we are thankful for.
If I can conquer those 2 elements I will be a much happier soul.
Love to All,
MaryAnn
Dear MaryAnn,
We will do it…we are working on it..thanks for
putting it so clearly…Sarah
Dear Cherokee and Dear All,
I so love this post that I have to reply right away. This is such a poignant statement as to how to be grateful. How I wish that more could read your post, this is so enlightening.
I have always been grateful for what I have, so much so that I do not think I have developed ambition but find myself having or being where I am because of the good Lord blessings. I recently asked my mother how come I do not have any desire for more. I knew the answer but asked her anyway. I do not want to make this about myself but I just want to share my state of being and I know it has to do with GRATITUDE even for the many losses I encounter or what seemed to have been losses. As I grow older the concept of seeing the glass as half full is really how I approach things.
Gratitude is really a state of being…it even takes away sadness and depression. If we can be happy and appreciate the smallest things, life for many would be so different as I see it in my line of work, with friends and family. I think that too much expectation from self and others and high ambition really stand in the way of gratitude, interfering with contemplation of what we already have therefore, we can not appreciate. Western society taught us that having more is better, and get us enslaved with the notion of success, youth and beauty…so much so that we would compromise our health to stay young and pretty, compromise our integrity for success in many scenarios, adding on stress and dehumanizing behavior in the pursuit of materialism.
God, we have so much to be grateful for but a lot of the time we are standing in our own way, wanting more, desiring more. I like the buddhist dharma ” no desire” …to move away from that, I think we have to learn gratitude, if we can learn gratitude for what we already have, then we can transcend desire….if we can transcend desire, then we can have FREEDOM, to begin having this degree of freedom is to move toward soul/spirit connection ( hope I make sense)
One Love,
Anne Florence
Dear Anne:
Thank you very much for your input. Like you I believe we should be grateful and happy with the little things of life. Ambition keeps us from enjoying the things we have because we want more. Thus we’ll never be satisfied. Children are a good example. They can spend hours playing, running in a square, sometimes not toys and are happy. Even if you have a playhouse create it, if they have not taken a car they can find something similar and from becoming just a car. My mother as a child did not have many toys then made mud pies.
Much love to you.
Dear Anabella,
Thanks for your comment, much love to you.
Dear Anabella,
Thank you for your comment, much love to you.
Dear Anabella,
The example of your mother as a child not having many toys then she still played and made mud pies.
The simpler things in life, I find make the most impact on our lives.
Although as I commented earlier; and maybe I am the lone ranger in this, but I have a problem with the attitude of being stable with my emotions when things don’t turn out as I had hoped. I reflect on my life and I become dis-satisfied with the outcome on some issues.
CB’S post on “Having the Gratitude Attitude” is something that I will try to improve. I am very grateful for many things that I see as blessings in my life;yet goals that I feel are important in my life to reach…go un-answered; hence the positive attitude light dims.
Blessings,
MaryAnn
Dear Anne:
if we truly have no desire we are content and that gives us the gratitude attitude. Most people are not content. That’s why I posted this to make people aware of how they can change their lives. It takes time, but you can turn your life around. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
I meant to write : seeing the glass as half full other then half empty…( I am being mindful of our many multilingual readers who may not be familiar with this concept)
Dear Cherokee Billie,
I have gratitude for what you posted today!!
I really needed to read these words, they went straight to my heart! Thank you very much for reminding me there is so much to thank for!
Not because I am not grateful for everything God has granted me, but sometimes, I admit, I fail to have gratitude for the simplest things in life, such as walking, breathing, seeing, hearing… being able to ponder, to speak my mind and to work on what I most like doing. Yes, I do have so much to thank for!!
THANK YOU once more for being an inspiration and learning source!
All the best, always,
Karina
Dear Karina:
we often forget the little things that we should be grateful for. I posted this message to give everybody a little kick in the behind. Thank you for your comment.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Ohh Thank You Cherokee… This post really hits home with me today. I definitely need to express being more grateful in my life. I am so blessed in my life and for that I’m grateful
Light and Love everyone Susanxxx
Dear Susan:
I am glad that this message hit home with you. You definitely have many blessings in your life – all you need to do is be grateful. That’s all god really wants from us.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Dear Cherokee:
It is very beautiful and wise message. Thanks for this.
I particularly liked his message because it shows a view of life than we are accustomed. We’re not used to say “thank you because I have problems because he reminds him that has the capacity to solve tomorrow”. That vision of hope and positive! I’ll incorporate into my life. I really liked!
The sun peeks out my window and warms me reminds me that begins a new day and I can improve, to overcome my problems. And possibly commit other mistakes. I think we should accept our limitations, constraints, they are also part of life. But neither should indulge in them with resignation.
Something, however slight, is we can do to change, to improve us as people.
I agree with you that we must be grateful. Sometimes I fight with my parents but I am also grateful for having them. I’m happy because they have good health. Without them my life would not be as it is.
Also, I think we should look at life as something beautiful. I read once that those who look at the world and is constantly criticized because they are dark inside enntonces see the world as something dark and ugly.
I’d like to add to the list that we give thanks for meal each day. There are many who do not have to eat.
When I read this message is associated with the end of the Italian film Francesco (2002). When I was in his last minutes of life, San Francisco praised each of the creatures and nature. Even in his agony does not stop contemplating and loving life. His last words were: “Praise and bless my Lord and thank Him. Serve him with the greatest humility.”
This is the scene to which I refer is in Italian with subtitles in Spanish. Try seek with English subtitles but I could not, sorry.

Let’s ask God to guide our ways.
Annabella…Bless you…Sarah
Many blessings to you too. You are always very friendly!
With love.
Anabella
I very much enjoyed this, treasure stories of the mystic
saints..etc. I will try to figure English..sometimes I want to use translator side by side to what I say
not sure how to do..I so appereciate how well and with beauty he made transition..thank you ..your story
helped me get the ideas and remembrances he was making to live in beauty of artistic and natural gifts…
it seemed like he was singing to heaven and he heard heaven calling him the choir..then the bell ringing him on his journey…it was beautiful Annabella…Sarah
Dear Anabella, beautiful comment! Oh, thanks for the video! I like very much the story of San Francisco.. All his life, the things he fought for, such as that we don’t need material possessions to be near God (that’s why he left everything he had, the Monastery/Catolics and went by him self, than he and other formed the Franciscans).. His love for the animals.. He was an example for all! ^_^
Dear Sarah, Mayra:
Thank you very much for your comments!
The Life of Saint Francis is very inspiring. he love the simplicity, humility, the little things. There is a scene of this film that showed where San Francisco is in a tree with many birds of all kinds.
There is also a movie that I recommend about his life, is very beautiful, is called “Brother Sun, Sister Moon” Franco Zeffirelli – 1972. It’s a movie I saw when I was 15 and stayed in my forever.
Much love and peace to you
Dear Cherokee thanks so much for this post… many times I forget about gratitude. and many times I am complaining about the things I dont have. instead of being thankfull of the things I do have…
Thanks so much to remind me the importance of Gratitude…
its a life Lesson!
Blessings for all !:)
Thank you Cherokee Billie for this beautiful message, it’s mean a lot to me today; I’m doing my best to feel me better.
I want to share this Michael’s song that in a way I found relative to the message,I think if we keep the faith it’s more easy to be greatful.
I’m listening right now and it’s helping me so much.
Dear Ana,
Michael Jackson surely understood these concepts
to survive and be as successful as he was..thanks for
this song…truly fits…Sarah
Hola Anabella, estoy mejor, paso a paso, dia a dia.
Con respecto a la canción pienso igual que vos, es un grito de ánimo para seguir adelante.
Besos

I will pass this message to somebody I know how really need this kind of advices and I will works on it myself.
I admit that I have some trouble with the #6. I don’t like the cold :-/ and I like the #7 a lot! For the rest, I’m grateful all the time at least, I try -when it’s not 30 degrees outside
Dear Vanilla,
We had our first minor dump snow in early October…
We are having a major dump snow now…what I have to overcome in chronic pain and navigating and fear from
personal and family accidents driving in rural mountain
area huge..your humor on #6 and really taking each
message to heart helped today…this entire blog..well
today I choose to see us as snowflakes making a big picture…and those snowflakes giving me energy
to work..get better transportation, get less rural,
and eventually be where winter to this degree is
not…reading what every one works with and perceives
in the daily struggles and “small” attitudes of gratitude,
big, big, help today….always a way to shift mind and fear
to get to next little step..so grateful..all ports and messages here..quite fabulous…Sarah
PS I send prayers to all folks dealing with struggles
of weather..and am so deeply aware of those in
immediate peril on this planet..and what we all need to do
in taking small steps to be part of big step in healing
our planet…God Bless…Sarah
Dear Cherokee, beautiful post, thank you for this! I’ve been trying to remember to be greatful as most as I can.. Everytime I’m about to complain at something, a voice “pop’s” on my mind (I was talking about this the other day here with the bloggers): my grandpa sweet and funny words – “it could be worse, kids!” haha..
.. He would say this to me and my cousins.. I miss him! He must be happy in spirit right now, making everyone’s lives over there sweeter!
God gave me a beautiful present! I’m thankful to be here and to have met you all.. I really am!!
This video is for you, dear Cherokee, and everyone, with all my love:
Maryra,
What a beautiful song. It is really befitting Cherokee. Thank you for sharing with all the dear quiet angels in this blog as you are one yourself.
One love, Anne Florence.
Thank you, Mayra, oh…what a sweet message!!
Love,
Karina
As always Mayra..gratitude for humor and wisdom…please
forgive all….
spelling of post earlier…have to hit spell check more I guess I type hunt and peck style and think as many mistakes made that way as any..truly love
and value you and all here..as work increases and
discipline takes over time..please know how much you all
mean to me…Sarah
Dear Anne, Karina and Sarah, thank you!!!
I’m glad you liked it!
Wonderful message! I am grateful for this blog and everyone here, and in my life.
Dear Bloggers, Site Readers, Cherokee Billie, I had painted myself in a corner so to speak in my life…sadly
we often have to learn same lessons several times
until we get it..I have enjoyed beautiful articles on
spirituality on the main site. I have experienced support
here too in a deep examination of the loss of a great
artist and healer on this planet..and the surprising ups and downs of how that brought up loss, spiritual need, personal
family healing, personal healing and and lots of things understood and still evolving with the loss of a contemporary. Simply being accepted and seeing myself
write, connect, explore, support and be aided has been
a great gift. I am very thankful for increasing peace of mind
and turning back to a renewed and updating sense of
my personal faith life..that encompasses all other aspects
I am working on..thank you all here for being a part of it…
I feel things getting more stable and productive in many areas..for these things I am very grateful..I will take
this gift with me in renewal and gratitude for all of
our lives and how we are all a part of healing our world…
thank you all for the energy of this healing..and the renewed knowledge that we are all part of a beautiful
world healing into the Light..and with practice, prayer and awareness..we all will fulfill our purposes here until we
arrive “home” for futhering our gifts to the universe…my
heart is very thankful this thanksgiving…things are working out and pretty ok when I realize what is really important
and move forward day by day..the blessing of Peace
no matter what…this is the big gift..I am so grateful…
You will always be in my prayers and heart…Sarah
Thanks Cherokee Billie. I really needed a post like this. Im glad to see you can keep your spirits up after going through your medical procedure. I hope you are recovering well.
Keep the faith.
Much Love,
Lauren
Dear all,
This year a personal friend..exactly 40 years my senior
quietly passed away after a stroke..I found out from a kind
note from his daughter..he was a WWII veteran…I saw 2
books at he bookstore still quite contemporary and their authors next endeavors he had recently sent…we were
pen pals, and gave each other a unique respectful friendhip..a very rare thing..to have somone 2 generations
your senior be a friend like we shared…we didn’t know each other’s familys..we were not lovers..we were very
real friends that had similar needs of deep privacy and
deep sharing…we let each other into our lives and grew
from a coffee shop daily chat in the late 80’s and early
90’s to a sincere support..love for each other…we never missed each other’s October birthdays or Christmas…I have an anthology on world history from him..that he wrote…in personal letters. Sometimes our understanding
of God and faith and politics didn’t mesh..but our respect
and truest mutual desire to do good in the world bonded us
for 23 years…today in spite of the mess we are in Veterens
and Soldiers truly give their all with the heart of providing
safe countries in the world..I’m grateful for who he was to me and his service..for Cherokee’s Father, my Friend Buzz,
and all Veterens the world over who have given all in the hope of peace..I pray for and give great thanksgiving..on
this Veterens day…Sarah 11:53 PM 11/11/09. Mountain Time US…Love again to all..S.
Dear Sarah,
Sorry to read about your friend death Sarah. Indeed be grateful that you had him as a friend and share beautiful exchanges. Now i am sure he is just one thought away.
One Love,
Anne Florence.
Thank you Anne..I need to remember that..probably
we both are even closer…still mending seperation
in life…Sarah
Dear Sarah, sorry to hear about your friend…all my love for you!
Dear All..please forgive spelling…Veterans Day US,
Remembrance Day Canada..November 11, 2009
I hope you understand my English (is very late here and I’m so tired)
Hi Cherokee, are very wise words!
Many times, when I see or hear people who really are living badly.. without a roof to sleep, one meal every day or haven´t family for support, in those with physical deficiencies, who get up every day to earn a meal for that day..
When I think about these cases and many more, as you’ve written in this message… I look around and say thank you God for every thing that I have..
Before, I didn´t realize all the things that I had..I always looked everything that didn´t have..but thank to God, I opened my eyes and I really realize that I have nothing to complain…and one way of thanking God for everything I have, is helping those who really need.
Cherokee thanks for all your wonderful posts!
you all have a nice day!
Dear Vanessa:
you have really been awakened to the realities of life. Most people don’t have a roof over their head and enough food to the daily. That’s why we need to realize how fortunate we truly are. Thank you so much for your own wonderful comment.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Vanessa,
You said it right….
helping those who really need.
That is the key. If we as people help those who are in need and need a helping hand. We will be doing exactly what is necessary to preserve the integrity of our world.
Helping those who really need our help is a great attitude to have.
Cherokee thanks to you, hope you are well today
Hi MariAnn! yes, for me, helping those who really need is the ideal way to thank God for all we have, and the same time we feel useful, we enjoy it and have peace with ourselves.
I think the world would be so different if everyone are grateful, helping the needy
Dear Cherokee Billie, thank you so much for posting this. The more gratitude we feel for things we take so much for granted, the more abundance we will have in our lives. Thank you for reminding us of this. We should feel grateful when things go wrong (even if they are not “wrong”) as they are truly opportunities for us to learn and grow.
I hope you are feeling well and I am praying for you.
Love Liz
Thank you very much, Cherokee Billie, for this beautiful post and reminder. I would like to emphasize once more how grateful I am for everything you do. Lots of love and well wishes.
Hello Cherokee Billie and all,
How is everyone doing?
Thank you for this wonderful post Cherokee. It is very inspiring and gives one alot to think about. When it is learned to be Grateful then Appreciation follow and the Beauty in anything (even the least or smallest) can be seen..
‘If I may quickly say, I think I was a bit too excited yesterday in my comment’ Apologies if it seemed a bit smushy but I got carried away.. It was maybe a bit too early to celebrate.
Love,
Nicolene
Dear Cherokee,
Thank you for this wonderful post. It’s so easy to get caught up in the every day struggles (and I do mean struggles) of life that sometimes I forget to realize just how much I do have to be grateful for and these things should not be taken for granted. Sometimes, something comes along to help remind me of this.
I watched Oprah yesterday. She interviewed Charla Nash, the woman from Connecticut that was attacked and mauled by a 200-pound chimpanzee last February at her freind’s home. I don’t want to sound gruesome here but the fact is she was completely disfigured in the attack. She lost her entire face; her eyes, nose, her mouth and also her hands. The doctors recreated an opening for a mouth for her and were able to attach one thumb. She still has a long way to go. It’s a blessing she doesn’t remember the attack and amazing she even lived through it. What is really amazing though, is this woman’s spirit, courage and will to live. Many people would not want to or have this strong will and courage to go on as she has. I don’t know if I could. She also has no anger towards anyone for what has happened to her. God Bless her.
This example may be extreme, but it certainly makes me realize how truly grateful I am to God for EVERYTHING I have of me and around me and nothing should ever be taken for granted.
God Bless,
Amy
dear Amy:
I saw that interview also and that lady was truly amazing to have such a positive outlook. It’s people like her that help us understand how fortunate we are. Thank you for bringing up this interesting topic.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Dear Cherokee,
I wanna thank you for this precious message… I’ve come across Michael’s thought and his great love for life and for God in it…
Too often we forget how many wonderful gifts we have, ’cause we’re so busy and our lives are so frenetic… We really need to look up at the sky and to get lost into Nature’s harmony. But there are situations that make us sad and discouraged, so it’s more difficult to recognize the wonder of every day… So thank you for reminding us how lucky we are..
I hope everyone here is well and peaceful..
Michael, you’re in my heart with your bright smile… I Love you
Monica
Dear Cherokee Billie, Your site and blog are filled with
gifts that keep on giving..wherever one is in spiritual
journey and specific faith..the true love and tenants
for healthy living can not be denied…you all please forgive so many posts but you will soon see less of me…and I can not help this attitude of gratitude post I just found
and help it brings to go deep with message..today
my too city car could not even leave driveway…but I’m
thankful to have one until we all live with better public
transportation even in rural areas..if I spent 3 hours a day
on school bus…with all of us needing better public transport
to save planet it can be done…I digress..here you go…
Blessed day all….Sarah
Thank you for this beautiful reminder Cherokee.
You are so right about the power of perception. What you said reminds me of these wonderful quotes.
“Man is not in the world to set it right, but to see it rightly” – Eric Butterworth
“The color of the rose lies within us, not in the rose.” – John Keats
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about being grateful. It is so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day “busy-ness” and the stress that we don’t take the time to count our blessings. God is good to us and is never failing. As the saying goes, we need to stop and smell the roses and be thankful for our gift of life. Last week I was looking out one of my windows and saw the leaves falling…it was so beautful! I am retired just this year and do not remember having the opportunity to watch the beauty. My favorites, too, are sunrises and sunsets. I hope that you are feeling well and am looking forward to more of your sharing.
May God’s light continue to shine upon you…always,
Anna H.
Hi Billie,
Hope you are feeling better after your medical procedure, we pray for your quick recovery.
Loved the article about ‘Gratitude’. We completely agree. Having ‘Gratitude and being thankful’ is one of the most important traits that we can have. It definately helps you to become more positive in life, and any problems experienced in life can be dealt with, with a more positive outlook.
I think we should be more thankful for what we have in our lives then to ponder and waste energy thinking about what we dont have! With gratitude comes …everything else. God knows whats in our hearts and what we desire, by having gratitude, more of our desires are fulfilled …we are currently experiencing this.
God Bless us All.
Sher & Shital

Dear Sher & Shital:
it’s true we waste a lot of energy on thinking about lack in our life instead of concentrating on what we do have. God definitely blesses people who are grateful . Thank you so much for your comment.
Many blessings to both of you,
Cherokee Billie
Our desires can surely rule us…just as obsessing about
whatever “it is” we want to get rid of..then I go so deep
that I do not even know what I want…then finally after a spell like this..I go to Lord’s prayer and the tenants we are
discussing today..wants are ok to discover gifts and
what we are good at to give..but expectations..the
ability to give them up..possibly a part of being grateful for what we do have and allowing the great mystry of God to
work in our lives…thinking out loud…Love, Sarah
We all should be thankful for everything. I’m thankful for Michael Jackson changing everyone’s life in a special way.
my God,
this really reminds me of how lucky i truly am. most days i do wake up and thank GOD for all the wonderful things i have, at least i try to do this everyday. no matter how bad you think your life is someone else is more worse off than you.
i just want to take this moment to say thank you to GOD for all of you in my life. i feel blessed to have found this blog and have made such wonderful friends. this is the season to be thankful and we should stay this way every day.
love and peace to all of you!
dear Heidi:
you have hit it that this is the time of year to remember to be grateful for everything. The main message is to be grateful every day of the year not just during these upcoming holidays. I know that you are. Thank you for your comment.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie

Even when certain things come out differently, I paused before going to sleep and thank God once again for given me another lesson and chance to learn. So, I’ll say that been in connecting with God – spirituality- have been the best that had happen in my life; therefore, now I’m always grateful and always see light at the end of the tunnel.

Dear Cherokee,
Thank you for posting these wise words! This all has to do with humanity preparing for our Ascension
Earthly & bodily changes are currently taking place. Vibrations & frequencies are raised ….. and the stargates are being opened, the first date being 11 November 2009!
“The Triad gates enable humanity to reinstate passionate influence through stalwart action. Where timidity and fear have closed inner doors, this Triad of Love, will offer frequencial fidelity that will reopen them. On the 11-11 these will be received in micro, individually. On the 12-12 they will be received in macro, in group and mass. And as such hold open the doorway for all of humanity to pass through the same threshold. ” read more about it below!
Below you will find a channeled message:
Love & light to you all!
November 8, 2009
Archangel Metatron via J Tyberonn
The 11-11, 12-12 and 12-21
The Triad Star-Gates of Love
Greetings, I am Metatron, Lord of Light. And I embrace you all in energy of Unconditional Love!
And so we speak on the Triad Stargates. We tell you there are three major frequencial openings occurring in the remainder of your year.
These will occur on November 11th, 2009; December 12th, 2009 and December 21st, 2009.
These stargates are a major part of the ‘Planetary Shift’. The 3 listed frequencial portals are a Triad of inlet corridors that will work in aggregation to assist you through a potent transition. The planet is changing its spiritual season.
The 11-11, 12-12 and 21-12 are aggregated around the release of fear and the acceptance of LOVE. It is the Return of the Heart of the Dove. These bring the Triad Stargates of Love, invigorate LOVE, and are indeed an aspect and function of the Crystalline Age. As such the arc swing of duality is lessened.
LOVE is Pro-Active
Masters we tell you that in the Celestial realms, love is a frequencial force that is pro-active. The triad portals offer you a benevolent aspect of love that will give you the strength of will to be harmonically assertive rather than passive.
The Triad gates enable humanity to reinstate passionate influence through stalwart action.
The energy that is offered in the Triad Stargates, as always involves your choice and your discernment. But they also require action on your part to activate the energy of enablement that is being made available to the seeking souls of humanity.
These offer you the vision to see what no longer serves you and the ability to take charge of the multidimensional aspects of your consciousness by offering access to the seat of power within the oversoul. The seat of your oversoul is the center of power and Universal Truth. And Universal Truth is in a field of LOVE that is in your terms, devoid of fear. It expands as you enter and enables your ability to access vast wisdom and information to assist you on your journey of Ascension.
As such you will discover that your life’s purpose and its success is in many aspects is linked to that of others. It is imperative that mankind discover that one can maintain individual reality while cooperating with others to bring about the highest potential and result.
Harmony in the Crystalline Age
In the Crystalline Age of the Ascended Earth partnering with others of diverse content will be seen as very do-able when release of fear is permitted and love is not impeached. Cooperation and harmony do not create limitation, rather expansion and creativity.
This possibility, however, requires accountability and responsibility. It does not mean cowering or passivity in the throes of duality. Love requires the commitment of strength. This does not mean bullying another or allowing self to be controlled by fear. Indeed it is standing in your truth, and that requires gentle but solid courage.
Fear, from our higher perspective, is not the opposite of love, in fact it has its purposed role in duality just as all ‘obstacles’ do. Nor is LOVE meant to cancel out fear per se. Rather the two, from overview, work in tandem to allow humanity to find the harmonic solution.
But do not misunderstand us, unbridled fear can and does separate. It detriments wisdom. As such it is a catalyst in duality. Fear is employed by those with an agenda and a desire to control. Release of fear through unity consciousness is your final test.
As your great teacher, Mahatma Ghandi told you, when you disarm your own heart in unity with those that are fearful and controlling, you disarm their hearts as well. Not by giving in, but by being steadfast in your power and truth, yet open to unity within love of others.
Violence begets violence, and it is never the answer to resolving conflict. For a while it may seem the dark side is winning, but in the end, it is always love that prevails.
So there are in essence two levels of fear that the Triad gates will assist you to deal with. The first is inner fear, fear that causes you to become weak, filling you with doubt and confusion, impairing Love of Self.
The second is fear from outside sources. Simply put, being ’stuck’ by allowing others in group or individual to control you and limit your freedom.
In order to overcome the detrimental consequences of fear and its side effects of despair, depression and immobility all that is required is to face them in strength. Then ask your Divinity to create possibilities and situations that are fear and harm free and then choose the power of will to live them. Be active!
Triad Portals: A Time of Insight & Recharging
The Triad Portals will provide a recharging, a revamping of courage and insight within a vibration of active LOVE. You will be empowered. When fear is faced and released, you will find an inrush of energy. You will within this energy open channels of previously dormant creativity, and creativity leads to the power to script your life. But the vibration of love must ever guide the wise use of power. Those on your planet that truly wield the greatest power, do so in brotherhood, and exude gentleness. True power is also subtle.
But insight is required to achieve this.
On the 11th of November energy will initiate that assists you in breaking through the energetic boxes that many on the planet are yet entrapped within, often unknowingly. Some of you may not even be aware of the entanglements. The primary component of the containment is again, old energy fear. And it is a fear aspect that is multidimensional within the duality hologram of simultaneous time on the planet. Many of the aspects being surfaced in the ascending energy are indeed remnants within the coinciding lifetimes of individuals that must be cleared, must be released.
There has been in essence a pull back from many Lightworkers over the past months. A sense of lull. It is why many on the planet for the past few weeks have felt stuck, mired in a low energy that contains waves of doubt.
In this present astrologically driven phase of imbalance, the old energy has resurfaced. But it is not just the pseudo-sacrosanct control religions that are seen. Indeed all of the aspects of false beliefs around control and revenge are being boiled to the surface in the purification crucible required for the cleansing of the planet. It is in essence the allegorical test of ‘Kristos Temptation’, and it is a mirror that reflects what no longer serves.
Dear Ones, we have recently told you that old religions and old dogmatic beliefs of control are in their last throes. Light attracts bugs, it has been always be so. Violence is never the answer. All answers lie in the strength of harmony.
Those who are required in the new paradigm to abdicate the old thrones of power in both government and (especially) old-energy religion will not do so willingly. They will not fall without a fight.
Masters, view the incidences of this that have occurred over the past month alone in America . It is manifesting on two fronts, one that is actively center stage, and another that is individual and submissive. Do not fall into the lulled quagmire of surrender.
Heart of the Dove: The Kristos Rose
The 11-11, 12-12 and December solstice are energetic portals that will assist you in breaking through the mire. It is the Return of the Heart of the Dove. It offers what some refer to as the ‘ Kristos Rose ‘ it is the Heart of the Dove. It is time to shine your light, and that takes energy.
There are many paths and many choices on your road of growth. A wise human is one that is not easily surrendered to the threats or actions of nay sayers who will attempt in their negativity to discredit or threaten behind the critical veil of skewed self righteousness.
The planetary Ascension requires seekers to reclaim their will and to shine their decisive intent in a beacon of confidence that is unaffected by the duality bias of the hour.
t is time to rally through the mire. Dear Ones if you hang your head in despair and confusion your heartbeam will be lowered in kind. Lose momentum and your forward thrust will be curtailed. If you ingest the animosity and acrimonious threats of the nay sayers you will be discouraged, and indeed that is their controlling motive. That is their role in duality you see, to ensnare you in confusion and doubt.
The Spiritual Warrior cannot, must not allow the hostilities of the world without to penetrate the layers of the harmony and love within. Do not surrender! The submissive yielding would be individually subtle and voiceless, but the collective rue would be felt in micro and macro across humanity.
Closing:
Spirit hears you. Spirit speaks to hearts in a small quiet voice. Spirit reveals its TRUTH from within and exhibits its fidelity through every step along your path of enlightenment. Spirit is not defined by religion nor hemmed in by dogma. Neither does Spirit seek approval in good opinion of others or lack thereof. Spirit is TRUTH and Truth is is resplendent in form and formlessness. Spirit ever projects the frequency of impeccability in Universal Law.
The frequencial opening that occurs on the 11-11 (11 November, 2009) is one that cast light on all of these aspects. In truth its door has been opened since the full moon of November 2nd. Review on the 11:11. Take inventory. On the 12:12 gather in groups where possible, and release.
On the 12-21 project love and actively take your power. Love is pro-active. Love is nurturing but steadfast. The Spiritual Winter on your planet is giving way through the Crystalline Energy, to a verdant springtime. Plant the seeds of your heart, in nurturing and powerful LOVE.
This energy is shining down in the Triad Portals through the emerging 144-Crytsalline Grid. Employ them, it is how the Ascension occurs!
I am Metatron and I share with you these Truths. You are Beloved!
And so it is.

I believe some of Babara Handclow..if I’m remembering name properly helps with understanding these levels
of ascension etc…It’s all a bit hard to grasp..I do believe
though that the Holy one of my life Jesus was not what
people diminished him to and he is in some way a big part
of true openings to raise us in ways that get overwhelming to my head but not in heart..I was at Glacier Park in Montana and Canada border in late 80’s
working with some different colored lakes there that some
say carrey different big healing portals. Big ones in West, NW, and SW North America , then Egypt, Mount Saint Michael in France I believe are some of them
…am I right…anyway…very interesting info.
Healer I was with at the time felt very important to do
crystal connection work with those lakes..each different
minerals, colors, and frequencies..was speceial time…and very supernatural feel with those little mountain lakes
in view of each other and different colors mily blue
greens..them milky greenblues..then clear emerald green,
then clear clear to the many colored quartz and feldsfar etc, rocks..ah yes another gift to be greatful for…thank you Mil for sharing info tha stretches mindset…Love, Sarah
Mil, Mil, Mil (SMILE),
I must say that I could not wait to get to “Archangel Metatron,” news letters. I searched it and have much to read to grasp the knowledge, as if I don’t already have a ton of thing to read and grow on.
I did not know of Archangel Metatron. I believe it was The Awakening of Humanity, where JESUS said that people think there are only 4 Archangels but there is over 200. Now I know that Metatron is one of them.
We have an AWESOME GOD, ALWAYS TAKING CARE OF ME with more and more profound information for my hunger, knowing I have no problem reading for spiritual growth. I AM SO BLESS, AND SO ARE WE (ALL OF US) (SMILE).
The spirits are busy exposing us to information for the taking (JESUS, ARCHANGEL MICHAEL, ANNA (GRANDMOTHER OF JESUS, and a few others also have news letters), to prepare and help us, but many don’t take advantage of it. The spirits are teaching us that We Need Not Let the Blind Lead and Control anymore. THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!
Thanks Again Mil. God Bless You For Sharing.
God Bless One and All,
Cynt G.
Hello N,
Happy Birthday! Best wishes for the year ahead *hug*
hi cherokee,
tried to send you an ecard but it wouldn’t accept your web address. i need your email address. you can leave it in my email if you like.
proanp@aol.com
Cherokee: Thank you so much! I really enjoyed the Beatles video; it put a smile on my face. I am thankful to God for allowing me to make it past this year; I would have to say that 2009 was the most challenging year of my life. The blessing of it all is that I now have new friends to share my life with that are just as spiritually aware and curious as I am. I had NO ONE to talk to about these things until I met you all. My efforts with my immediate family fell on deaf ears OR they would look at me like I was a weirdo. I don’t feel that way with you all… for that I am thankful to God. Thank you for providing this safe environment for me and everyone else, Cherokee. YOU are appreciated.
I will let you all know how my weekend went after it is all over.
Mayra: Thank you, my fellow Scorpio. I am hoping to get plenty love and happiness this weekend; I need it! xoxo
Sarah: Thank you Sarah for gracing the world with YOUR light. I love that you actually had a spiritual healer; that is so cool that you did a “crystal connection” with the lakes. Thank you for my birthday wishes!
Susan: Thanks, Susan!
Lisa: Thanks, Lisa! I will enjoy being one year older and way more spiritually mature. For that, I am grateful to God and Jesus!
Nicolene: Thank you for the well wishes and the hug! I so need it right now.
Hugs and Kisses to all of you.
Godspeed,
N

I really needed to read this. Thank you, Billie
Thank you, Cherokee Billie, for raising the consciousness of gratitude. There is a saying that love is un-conditional, it requires no return except our gratitude/appreciation.
Maybe I just open myself a little bit and share with all dear ones here my morning regime. You’re the first one to know (even my mum doesn’t know about this). Each morning in my shower I chant or sing a thank you song to my universe and here it is:
From the God/ Goddess of my being
I give forth thanks
For the love that I am,
for the love in my life and the love that surrounds me,
thank you.
Thank you for the miracle of life that I am and
thank you for the miracle of life I see reflected all about me.
Thank you for the gift of life that I am.
Thank you for this perfect body, my health and well-being,
thank you.
Thank you for the abundance that I am and
thank you for the abundance I see reflected all about me.
Thank you for the riches and the richness of my life and
thank you for the river of money which flows to me and through me,
thank you.
Thank you for the excitement and adventure of the millions of wondrous possibilities and wondrous probabilities,
thank you.
Thank you for the wonderment and for the joy.
Thank you for the beauty and harmony.
Thank you for the peace and tranquility.
Thank you for the laughter and the play.
And thank you for the privilege of serving and sharing
the gift that I am.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
The reason for singing my thank you under the shower is:
” The water is crystalline in property and is grandly magnifying, and as you sing forth the words, the sound embraced by the feeling in the Is-ness, in the Now of being in total abundance, you are in that reality. And as you go forth in your day, you carry with you the resonance, the energy that knows no lack.”
It gives me unshakable peace for the whole day. Hope you enjoy this thank you song. It has a Spanish version and several other languages. You may get it at :
http://www.ptaah.com/page/page/4736851.htm
Thank you, Cherokee Billie and everyone here. Wish you all a wonderful weekend!
Dear Lily :
thank you for inviting us into your private devotions. I think what you do in the shower is absolutely beautiful, you are starting your day correctly. Thank you for the explanation about why it’s good to sing in the shower. I will have to start incorporating that into my daily routine. Thank you so much for this brilliant comment.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Dear Cherokee Billie,
I’m so happy to see you acknowleging that I start my dar correctly. It is a joyous way to do so. Sometimes I give my prayers after the thank you song. But in the winter, we have to make sure that it’s warm in the bathroom. I pray that every aspect of the thank you song is manifesting perfectly for you.
Thank you, Cherokee Billie, for your LOVE and the truth of you, an extension of the Mind of Creation!
Happy weekend to you and all the dear ones here!

Dear Mayra, how are you? wish you are fine. Have you recently operated the column? not if I understood well what you said.
Sometimes it’s hard to understand or express, or think I do not understand me because I use the translator is not very good. Translated word for word. But menso helps me to communicate, otherwise it would be impossible. So I have to be grateful.
I wish him very well do the rest and you feel accompanied by all of us.
Muito amor a você.
Dear Anabella, I’m doing fine, my back is just bothering me a little bit but I’m Ok
(thank you for asking)
Yes, it was a spiritual surgery on my spine (in portuguese we call it “coluna”, as well).
Thank you for your wishes!
Love,
Ok all you attitude of gratituders,
It’s 4:45 PM here and trees look like cartoons wth heavy
snow that stuck from 2 days ago..it’s 27 degrees F.
and this too chubby newly 50 year old is putting on
my long underwear for a Saturday eve. walk..it’s gorgeous out there..we got 2 feet of wet heavy snow 2 days ago…
and it is not an earthquake or hurricane..so I’m happy…I am looking forward to hot apple cider on return…Smiles
to all warm or cold weather friends…xxxooo Sarah
Sarah,
Sounds very cold but it also sounds beautiful. Hope your walk was enjoyable. The hot apple cider sounds great to drink upon your return.
Hope you had a pleasant night to round off such a wonderful evening with your brisk winter walk.
It was 68 degrees here today. We might get rain soon. It’s been dry for a long time and some rain will be a blessing.
Love and Light,
MaryAnn
Hello MaryAnn…
Thank you for letting me know about your world..
It is tough but beautiful here…5500 to 6000
feet..a lovely mountain valley…compeletey
circled by different Rocky Ranges but joke is
9 months of winter and 3 of summer..not a lot
inbetween..my family adores it…me, I appreciate.
Rain is blessing..this wet heavy snow was…
I know about long rainy periods too..prefer them
but they have challenges too…time for both of us to
find coffee shops, bookstores..and for me..ways to
keep moving..thanks MaryAnn for you….your light.
Love and Light back at you,
Sarah
Dear Sarah, hope you had a nice walk! Oh, I’ve never experience a cold weather like that! It must be beautiful.. In here it doesn’t snow..
Dear MaryAnn, in here it’s raining since the end of October, and it won’t stop until the end of January! It’s the rain season! But, the other months of the year we have dry weather, as well. In fact this weather is particular of this region in wich I live, it’s not in the whole country..
Sending you some rain!! (*laughs* – I wish I could do that
)
Love,
Yes Mayra..but a little bit will do you…most folks from
warmer places who fall in love with lifestyle here
do not make it through winter…it is treacherous
and the more remote the harder..like everywhere we need economic balance and care in a small small
valley that suffers with influx..even though fairly
remote..the tiny valley can not take it and too many
are 3 month people from far wealthier areas
…it is all relative…but it is beautiful…
Are you temperate rainforest? That is my favorite
like coastal Washington and Oregon..US..Brazil
is very large a varies alot from what I read…hope
back and all is feeling ok…Love, Sarah
Dear Sarah:
That beautiful place where you live! Near the mountains and very snowy. I live in the capital of Argentina and I know the snow, except once water snow that fell two years ago. But usually no snow. The only time it snowed I could barely take my picture. It usually snows where I live because the weather is mild. And to see snow I have to travel south of the country near the Cordillera de los Andes. Not if you know the Patagonia Argentina, Bariloche.
I would like to show you live through a photograph. Because it should be quite nice.
Much love to you.
Hi again Sarah! I live in high altitude as well. I’m in the Middle West. There is no mountains, it’s called “Planalto”, wich means this region is plane and high. The weather over here is mostly dry (from March/April to September). Oh no, no forest in here! The nature we have is a type of Savanna called “Cerrado”. But we don’t have animals like a Savanna.. haha..
.. The weather in here is not cold, but not too hot, as well.
We have a kind of temperate forest in the Southeast and South regions (the temperatures are mostly colder). The tropical forest is in Amazônia, in the north part of the country (there’s a part of Amazonia that is out of Brazil, too). In there it rains a lot more than in here and the weather is a lot hotter, too. There’s also the Northeast region (hot temperatures and many types of nature, mostly a type that is a mix of Savanna and desert).
Hi Anabella! Oh, I’d love to visit Buenos Aires someday.. ^_^
Caro Mayra: Eu estarei esperando com muito prazer em Buenos Aires. Um beijo grande.
Dear all…thanks again for sharing corners of your world. Annabella I think the areas you mentioned are similar..I often look at books and pictues of places
in the world…sounds like a good winter outing
to Library is coming up…I do not want world to loose
books and newspapers..thank you all again…and thank you Michael for calling us “loves” and updates.
Cherokee…God bless you and thank you for prayers that are returned tenfold by bloggers and no doubt
the universe for your work…getting busier now
working on things…like I said…but will check in even
when can not write as much and you all are now always in my prayers…Lord’s Prayer entry still one
of my favorites and I just got a book on it that
elaborates exactly what you said Cherokee really
workin with this prayer…God bless and many loves
and prayers all…Sarah
Dear Cherokee Billie,
It is an honor to read about your father, especially his thoughtfulness for children – “If I give them money they might not bring home food to their children, this way I know the kids will get something to eat.” His care is so deep!
I feel enchanting to see the beautiful bonding between you and your father and his absolute gratitude for life. His magnetism is still here!
Thank you and many blessings to you!
Dear Lily:
I’m so glad you appreciated this story of my father. He was a great man and there are not many like him with such fortitude and compassion. The bond between us will never be broken. I look forward to the day that I am reunited with him. Thank you so much for your kind words about my father.
Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
Hey Cherokee! and Everyone hear!
I just want to say Happy Thanks giving to everyone here especially Cherokee! That was a truely remarkable story about your father Cherokee i salute him! May God rest his soul in peace. How ever my mother left for Pakistan today for 2 months. I did’nt even get a chance to say goodbye as that was the intention but i had a big argument with my younger sister my mother obviously sided with her as she is the provider of m parents home and she takes care of my parents! I ended up saying to my mother she is never gonna see me again and i left. but knowing the fact of so much bloodshed going on in Pakistan i had to call up my mother and say goodbye but she did’nt want to speak. So i just asked God if he could protect her! my emotions just came out in a rage as i could not bare this kind of intolrateable behaver from my sis and fell right in her trap and i lost out.
Happy Thanks Giving everyone!
Dear Saba, I can not imagine walking in your shoes with all hard issues..except for very hard family dynamics…
that I do get and am back to where folks are now more for the whole situation than just me…there is no one
right way to work these things out…much love..many
prayers..I have Michael Jackson’s keep the faith on repeat
for last hour and will keep it on another no doubt…Spirit Bless and keep you and send you folks to surround you
in understanding…Love and prayers…Sarah
Dear Saba,
My siblings disowned me for a long time for things I DID
THAT TRULY SAVED SITUATIONS THEY WILL NEVER KNOW
ABOUT I’VE SO FAR DECIDED. I have compassion for
all family troubles no matter what..I could not have come
back at 48 years old if I hadn’t had over 20 years away from here..one thing somone told me 15 years ago that has helped is people get older and more tired..and sometimes they can think a little more…I came back home
of course for my heart when I was ready..kicking and
screaming I don’t want to but God said..time to go…but
again there is no ONE way to handle things..do your
best forgive yourself when you think you fall short…realize
these things are not all your responsibility and turn over
to higher power anything you can not fix..another thing;
the higher spiritual level that can not be seen understands everyone’s better sides when they are not
acting on it…anyway..I know God, Allah, will send you the love and peace you deserve..just open to it…Sarah
My friend, some times we argue (oh, how many time’s me and my mom have.. lost the count! I understand you..), but you and your mother love each other! She’s your mother and nothing can break this bond! God will give you a way out of this situation
I’ll pray for you both!
Here, I brought a video to cheer you up:
Hey Mayra!
How are you happy Thanks Giving! sorry i did’nt reply to your previous message i have had alot on my plate so i have not been here 4 a while. I did’nt forget you and thank you for your friendly advice and guidance i really appreciate it.
May God bless you! and i wish you peace and love
Dear Saba, how are you doing? Hope you’re enjoying Thanks Giving! It’s a pitty that we don’t celebrate Thanks Giving over here (well, some few families who descend from the US or are Presbiterians do) .. I think it’s a lovely celebration! We say thanks for all we have, for the people we love (we join the family and have a meal, we have Turkey and everything) and ask Lord Jesus Christ for protection in Christmas. So, we kind of have a “Thanks Giving” somehow.. It’s coming! I’ll just have to wait for a month (laughs)
You’re wellcome! I’m glad that the links I brought you could help ^_^
Oh, Amen! Thank you for your wishes!
Love,
Saba
Just keep your faith in the Creator. Read scriptures in the Bible that give you peace. Believe that all will be well. God will catch you, you will not fall and hit the ground. Believe! Keep positive communication with your Mother. Don’t let the darkness that is always there to consume us…don’t let it envelope any of your life-space.
The video is the night that Mike was very happy. It was Motown 25 and he is with his brothers. He and his brothers are performing for Motown founder Berry Gordy.

One thing is certain. Mike believed, he had strong faith in our Creator. He treated all with respect. He knew that God would catch him and not let him hit the ground. And God was always there for him. And God is with him still!
Love the little accident one too…Never can say goodbye,
Michael, Dionne Warwick and Diana Ross and so many
did that song beautifully..oh the 70’s and 80’s..good songs.
MJ loved Dionne too…thanks for tonites bedtime video.
Sarah
Saba,
On this video history was man. Mike moonwalked his way to stardon.
He believed! He stayed true and loved all…all of his life.

Mike Motown 25…Billie Jean
Dear MaryAnn:
thank you for posting this video as I think it’s one of the finest moments of Michael Jackson performing. This Performance was done in front of all of his peers and the response was overwhelming. He was definitely blessed with extreme talent. I know It was one of the high points of his life.
many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
CB, it was a proud moment for Michael for sure.
Berry Gordy discovered that due to Michael’s success with Thriller which went to orbit; he was told Michael was tied up with other obligations and would not be able to perform.
Mr. Gordy went to Michael personally and asked him would he do it for him. Mike’s response was ok but in addition to performing with my brothers I want to showcase alone….and the rest is history. The date was March 25, 1983.
I am making grammatical errors and screwing up posting from Youtube. It is time for me to say Goodnight all!
Haha, me too! Just made a mispelling! haha.. Nighty night, my friend! Oh, by the way, this video is SUPER!!!!!! Love it, the best ever!
Dear MaryAnn and Mayra..loved the videos..and all messages…God bless Saba…and all..Sarah
